1. I expected this article
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (10.29.12)
since months. Next time animal protectors will protest, that drills disturb the courtship of homars and murenas.
2. will the government listen to Zalul before it's too late?
chris ,   taviv   (10.29.12)
What Zalul demands is so obviously necessary, being the risks of a spill or contamination very possible. How can the government be so blind or careless? In Spanish we say "there is no better blind that the one that doesn't want to see" But why will WE. the citizens, be paying the price of their blindness and greed when Zalul is seeing very clearly ????
3. #2:because that's what we,the "citizens" are being bred for!
tom ,   tel aviv   (10.29.12)
4. no way
Gabor ,   Budapest, Hungary   (10.29.12)
It's a bit hard to believe that Israel, capable of building an "invisible" nuclear reactor and operating it for decades, does not have proper regulations for offshore drilling.
5. #1 Istvan, Zalul has got it right......
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.29.12)
...unless you don't care about leaving this planet better than you found it.
6. The government doesn't even care about an earthquake
Avi   (10.31.12)
There is 100% certainty that between 1 second from now 'til the next 10 years a huge earthquake seen only once every 80-90 years in the region will take place, killing at least 14,000 Israelis (1 in every 270), affecting millions and costing us in the long run our entire yearly GDP. Yet we barely spend a few millions on preparedness for it and only in the last few years. Most leaders are with their heads in the cloud not aware that the greatest crisis for Israel is just around the corner. If they don't prepare appropriately for that, why on earth would they care about an oil lake out at sea?
7. careless attatude
yoel ,   Israel   (10.31.12)
This concerns all the people in our country-The Gov should follow proper guidelines, (another screw-up).. its never too late.
8. It's hard to think long term
Big Al ,   Zichron Israel   (10.31.12)
when the Dossim are beating down the door for more money
9. 7-Not to mention that Israel is a small country
Ypip ,   Canada   (10.31.12)
and also risks pissing off the rest of the Mediterranian should such a disaster occur. So, where's the parties on all of this?
