1. Rabbi Akiva was right!
Essie HaKohane ,   Fl. USA.   (10.27.12)
Sinat Hinam (brotherly hatred) led to the destruction of the 2nd temple. SH is building up today and could cause the downfall of the current state. I propose that today's Bnei Akiva drop the " Akiva" name since they don't live by his principles. Change it to Bnei Kahane.
2. the real enemy
tom ,   toronto, canada   (10.28.12)
the real enemy is sin'at hinam, not "left" or "right". it's time we stopped helping those who want to destroy us.
3. To all the west banker "patriots",
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (10.27.12)
If not for Rabin-Oslo,Israel today, would have had to fight hamas on 2 fronts, gaza and in the west bank, and what do you think about another product of Rabin-Oslo,Abu mazen, does the I.D.F believe in removing Abumazen and take full control of the west bank ?.
4. Bnei Akiva youth are a discrase and traitors
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.27.12)
Brain washed zombies
5. @1You are ignorant and arrogant
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (10.27.12)
It was always corruption that led to destruction of 2 Jewish States in Israel Bnei Akiva are absolutely right to be true to what they believe, Their leadfer is pandering to his self importance to attend a function that is abhorrent tpo his members,. He ought to resign then go if he is still of any relevance to be invited. Bravo BA for saying it as you see it
6. 1. And who would you call the folks who are
A ,   Belgium   (10.27.12)
willing to allow yet ANOTHER hostile arab state (as if there aren't enough already) to border Israel, with the capability to lob all sorts of explosive garbage into Hod HaSharon, Kvar Saba, Ramat Gan (big diamond center) and eventually Tel Aviv... for a handshake and promise of a murderous terrorist? Bnei Rabin?
7. A.. Belgium
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.28.12)
What is your solution ? Petach Tikva is nearer to the "green line" than Ramat Gan !
8. #7. My solution is the 2-state solution
A ,   Belgium   (10.28.12)
The Jewish state of Israel on the west side of the Jordan River, the arab state of Palestine, Jordan, PumpkinPie...whatever they want to call it...on the east side of the Jordan River. There will be no more arab representation in Israeli government, and arabs who wish to remain in Israel will do COMPULSORY army or civil service for 2 or 3 years .As long as rockets continue to fall on Israel from gaza and hamas or any other terrorist organization remains in power, than that area will remain a non-entity. Very simple.

Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.28.12)
It's easy to say what you said . Do you think that Israel can allow herself to expell all the arabs ? No more arab representation in the Knesseth ? and what about democracy ? I know , in Belgium you did things of this kind : Leuven Vlaams , and all the french speaking people more or less expelled . And the places , around Brussels or in the Fourons , with French speaking majorities , now flemish territory . You are NOT realistic , even if it would be a good solution . Do you know that the other side wants the same thing , but in the other direction : No Jews between sea and Jordan river .
10. Fully agree
Ari katz ,   Johannesburg   (10.29.12)
Shame on you Bnei Akiva - you have lost your ideology, turned your back on your friends and sold yourselves to the highest bidder to satisfy your egos!
11. BNEI AKIVA = BRAINWASH ON YOUTH. I WAS THERE FOR YEARS.
Nowhere Man ,   Metropolis, Zion.   (10.29.12)
They taught me hate on arabs. They taught me disgust over goyim. They taught me intolerance towards secular Jews. They taught me exclusion to Sephardim & Mizrahim. 'Unity' my ass. Bnei Akiva is just bad for Israel.
12. I wouldnt participate either.
Susan ,   Kfar Saba   (10.29.12)
Rabin was not a good guy. He shot at the Altelena, killing fellow Jews who were political rivals. He ordered police and army to beat up peaceful protestors during Oslo days, including my husband. His so called "peace" brought us more death and violence. I dont approve of murder, but I cant say I shed any tears for him when he died.
13. @11 - I doubt that!
David ,   USA   (10.29.12)
I know sephardim who are in or were in Bnei Akiva. Take your trolling "my ass" statements elsewhere. Your statements have no grounding in truth.
