1. Colourful elections
painter ,   israel   (10.27.12)
At the the time of elections each party wants to be seen in technicolor
2. I'm voting Likud, but I don't think a racist will help them
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (10.27.12)
Racism should be rejected in all forms, whether it's white against black or mizrachim against ashkenazim. True, ashkenazim are more affluent than mizrachim, but this has nothing to do with racism & there are plenty oif mizrachim working at Bank Leumi & there is an Arab on the Supreme Court
3. Musical parties and politicians
Ellen ,   Israel/USA   (10.28.12)
The state of politics in Israel is disgraceful. Granted she IS the only democracy in the area and all the shenanigans don't change that but it seems like there isn't one politician out there who is loyal to anything but his or her own self interest. They change parties and coalitions with more frequency than some people change their underwear. It is way past time for Israel to eliminate party lists and have direct elections. Maybe if politicians became accountable to those who voted for them, then the games would diminish. ( I am not so naive or foolish as to think the games would end.
4. politicians: strategy and crime
ma nishma ,   modiin   (10.28.12)
Is it a crime for politicians to use strategy to secure a better spot? I think this is the name of the game. So Bibi lines up Mozuz and Libermann; Yuchamovich wants Livni, Lapid got two mayors and a rabbi. This is politics, take it or go to another planet.
