61. "Nice Hurricane"
Christy ,   Dayton, USA   (11.02.12)
I agree w/the rabbi. Dependence should never be upon us but upon God. As Americans, we are to be supportive of Israel and her God given rights to her land and her freedoms...not to enslave her by ANY means. We would pay dearly if we as a nation were to continue in this dyer path.
62. All of you should re-read this Article.
ILYSE ,   San Diego USA   (11.02.12)
The Rav is making some good points. Israel could have taken out Iran a long time ago. But they listen to the American President. Israel should have gone into Gaza and taken care of that problem but they did not! Israel got chew out for building it's so called settlements. Israel does have her hands tied behind her back and she does take orders from the American President.. You all sound like low class uneducated people. You don't want to believe what this man believes, fine. But do not put down something that maybe you just do not understand. Since when is it ok to put down a fellow Jew the way you people put him down. Does it make you feel good to hate someone religious? EVEN if you do not agree you could say it a be respectful. Judisiam 101 - treat others as you would like to be treated....
63. # 5 LIKE
Stan ,   Israel   (11.02.12)
I was interested to see who would be the first to call it G-d's punishment Nearly 30 years ago, 24 children were killed in Israel when a train hit a bus. The minister of the interior, a rabbi then blamed the parents of the children by saying that it happened because "THEY DID NOT KEEP SHABBAT"
64. # 6 See my post to # 5
Stan ,   Israel   (11.02.12)
So it was G-d's plan to kill 24 innocent children?????????????/

66. A Fake, a Fraud and a Fanatic!!!
Mirqa ,   Tsfat, Israel   (11.02.12)
I went to one of his events once just to see what it was like. There was an opening "act" before he arrived, during which I saw Amnon Yitzchak as he came into the auditorium. He did not have long payot when he entered, but he did once he was on stage. They are attached to his hat, not to his head. He is a fake, a fraud and a fanatic.
67. What a stupid moron...
Ai ,   Israel   (11.02.12)
If not for U.S help we would not exist. I suggest that this Rabbi should see a shrink...
68. Sprotje . What will be the US without Jews
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (11.02.12)
Who brought them all their knowledge , honors with all the Jewish Nobel prizes and so on , There is NO field in US science , culture , economy etc , and even sports , where Jews did'nt contribute in a greater % than their numbers
69. Rabbi Amnon Yitzhak implies superstorm Sandy was message fro
ltrail ,   United States   (11.03.12)
As an American citizen, I'm certain that Rabbi Yitzhak does not know all that God does and plans to do for Israel. What I do know, is that God loves the Jew, has restored Eretz Yisrael to them, and..... promises that Jews as a people and as a nation, shall exist forever. I cannot, however, say that I know that the USofA will exist another hundred years; let alone, forever.
70. This is a man of God?
Joseph Singer ,   Seattle, USA   (11.02.12)
This man should be ashamed of himself for ascribing the disaster of a hurricane because the USA has a black president.
71. Pinhead @ 68
split ,   US   (11.02.12)
US was doing fine and became a super-power at the time there were a few of you here since the influx of Jewish fugitives from Nazi and post Stalin era, holocaust survivors and since we started supporting Israel this country is going nowhere but down - Not the first one by the way ,... If you're so a smart why there's not one born, educated in Israel Nobel price winner? Maybe because there's nothing or no one to steal from ,...

74. 71 , sprotje .
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (11.03.12)
More than a century ago 2 million Jews made their way to the US . Their children and grand children made a great country from the US . Later on the US limited the arrival of Jews , even those fleeing nazi germany , remember the St Louis ? Those who were admitted were those who could contribute VERY MUCH , [ Einstein , Szillard , Chagall , to name only a few ] and only they were received with open arms . What tongue was spoken at Los Alamos ? A mixing of Yddish and English . Here some numbers : % of Jewish Nobels in the USA ; Chemistry 30 , Economy 53 , literature 27 , medecine 39 , physics 32 . This for a Jewish population of a 2 % . And i'm not talking about the many other prizes awarded to Jews . No Israeli educated Nobel prize ? Where was Ciechanover born ? where did he , and Herschko work , if not in Haifa's Technion ? Jews are those who in the USA are the biggest contributors to charities , not only Jewish ones , to cultural institutions , not stealing .

76. religious lunatics make people want to become secular
jack bauer   (11.03.12)
while he may have many good points. blaming others because of your divine authority is pathetic. Israel does need to be weaned of american money, and does need to utterly destroy our enemies who fire rockets at us daily. We can never have peace, that is true as long as the death cult lives among us and nearby, but these whackjobs need to stop claiming nonsense. They can debate, make their points, say what they would like and leave it at that.
77. Born and educated, pinhead ,...
split ,   US   (11.03.12)
If you add for his/her work in Israel it looks even more dismal - Agree to biggest conributions to charity that isJewish ones or those in Israel that help building settlements or support health services,... Try to figure it out your burden to US society starting on safety thru those 157 Israel first organisations that ripping of US taxpayer ,...
78. 77 , underdevelopped sprotje
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (11.03.12)
Burden to US economy ? Not at all , only contributing to all organisations , more than any other group does . Only contributing to make the US a great country , in all fields . A difference with your favorites . How about your lies ? Jews immigrated after the rise of your favorites , this nazi h ? Or about those Nobels who were born or educated here ? Lies , hatefull lies that's your way , underdevelopped sprotje .
79. Perhaps
Norman Gellman ,   Rehovot   (11.03.12)
As this rabbi agrees with the ayatollahs of Islam maybe there is something in this idea that the hand of the almighty was behind this storm as many believe the almighty is behind everything. What do you think?
80. stop the names already...
rob ,   Orangevale U.S.A.   (11.03.12)
As in all parts of the world, those with hate or anger with one region or another tend to laugh at the problems of those suffering in these areas. It is a character flaw most people have. We are going to be Ok here in America. We are a solid country of people that will help when needed, as shown throughout our history as a nation. We (the American people) will help you when it's really time. I completely forgive those with the above mentioned character flaw, and I pray that something of the same magnitude doesn't come their way. I am constantly amazed tho, by the vehemence of the most religious men of Israel. I know the Torah is a book of peace, and have a hard time understanding the obvious contempt for the suffering of others. I understand that Israel is angry with the US, perhaps rightfully so, but should it not try to show patience and love for those that are suffering, instead of sticking a dark tongue forth and shaking a finger? We live on planet earth. Big storms and all kinds of other stuff can happen to any of us. Shalom Israel, Rob

Methinks by the reading of your post, that your brain is small... and shrinking. Shalom Israel, Rob
82. Israel must start labelling idiots as 'idiots'
Dan   (11.04.12)
83. Why do people even listen to this idiot?
AF-22 ,   Israel   (11.04.12)
He's a dishonest, power-hungry individual who get's off on controlling the lives of his many sheeple. It simply amazes me how there are so many people who are willing to buy into his bullshit.
84. Sandy, America and Jews
Annette ,   Haifa   (11.04.12)
What a lot of comments. People really do get excited - and with good reason! - about God, don't they. I have a comment too - for America but for Jewish Americans. This came across my screen. Something to think about...... " "Gd just passed over the modern day "Egypt" - the wealthy, powerful, contemporary Empire of the world. But this time He did not pass over Goshen - the home of the Jews - as He did in Egypt of Old. This time, He struck. Entire areas of Jewish houses and institutions were destroyed. What will you do now? Rebuild? Don't rebuild your houses in "Egypt". Remember... 80 percent of the Jews in Egypt chose to remain. They never came out. Come home. We are waiting for you. Egypt was the first Golus. Perhaps America can be the last."
85. Say what you like
AB ,   TheRock   (11.04.12)
You might not agree with Rav Amnon's conclusionsbut you can't argue with the facts he brings. Israel's job is a lot harder now than it would've been had they attacked Iran when they wanted to. If they would not listen to the Americans (gush katif expulsion), we wouldn't have a lot fo the problems we have. And to all those who refuse to believe that G-d is running the show. The 'leap of faith' is not such a leap after all we've been through in our history. Indeed not believing is blindness. If you can still deny G-d's existence it would only be because you prefer to live life as you wish, sins and all and pray and hope that what you know is true (judgment day) is not.
86. Rabbi's hurricane of words
Dottie ,   USA   (11.05.12)
Many of the rabbi's points are valid concerning America's declining influence worldwide and the current administration's betrayal of Israel. See Genesis 12:3 and II Chronicles 7:14. Time for a new path in America - VOTE!
87. And you wonder why?
Paul ,   Brisbane   (11.07.12)
If this were isolated vulgarity that would be all well and good, but it isn't is it. Maybe the Goy Cattle are getting beyond simply fed-up.
