Whilst polls don't necessarily reflect how people will actually vote on election day Obama has just thrown Romney a lifeline. After Sandy Obama want around the country hugging people who had lost everything, making speeches and just generally looking very presidential and showing leadership skills all Romney could do was try and get a little media coverage doing the same sort of thing and of course as he was the president Obama was the only one anybody was seriously interested in. If Obama had kept Sandy as his top priority rather than rushing to campaign again he could have taken all the limelight from Romney, made himself look good and Romney would be unable to criticise. Instead Obama has had his day of being the statesman and decided to get back to campaigning which is what Romney needs to be able to do but can't as long as Sandy is the thing Obama is talking about. Romney is going to have to find something special to beat Obama at this late stage. a good start might be to donate some of his campaign funds to a charity that helps the vicitms of Sandy. Newspaper headlines nationwide next day: ROMNEY DONATES MILLIONS TO SANDY VICTIMS. Obama of course would follow his example but Romney would have taken the lead in being charitable.

The two biggest and best polling companies use likely voters. Rasmussen has for years and Gallop changed their system a month ago. Rasmussen has Romney +2 Gallup has Romney +5 Obama made a huge mistake by simply attacking Romney and offering no game plan. Imagine you're a liberal and Obama keeps saying that Romney is a douche-bag or whatever but offers nothing new. You weren't going to vote for Romney anyway so what did he change? What changed is that you might not bother to vote for Obama. Republicans will vote on mass and many Dems will stay at home.

Forget the Leftist Polls that are skewed toward Obama. Obama must have paid them millions of dollars to fool the American people. The fact is Romney will win by a landslide victory. Americans are sick of 4 years of massive unemployment and underemployment, rising gas price, 16 trillion dollars in national debts/deficits, millions of home foreclosures, rising Islamist-Jihadist terrorism in America and in the world, etc under Obama. More recently, Obama and his cohorts have the temerity to lie and cover up on the Islamist-Jihadist terrorist attack in Libya that murdered 4 Americans including the Ambassador, and destroyed the American Embassy.

It is such a travesty to see these elections being decided by a few voters in two or three states. It is so unbelievably absurd that an electoral system developed over two centuries ago, premised on archaic considerations that have long since become irrelevant, is creating such a terrible skew in the world's most important elections today. According to this system, a candidate may become president even if he got fewer total votes than his opponent. Additionally, this system renders most of the votes as irrelevant, as most of the US states are "decided" (and thus all the minority votes in those states would be ignored, and all the majority votes would be somewhat redundant), while giving a handful of American voters in the "swinging states" much more power. Hard to believe that the democracy considered to be the greatest in the world, can be so anti-democratic, all in the name of some absurd conservatism. But I didn't tell you something you don't already know.

In an average of recent polls on RealClearPolitics.com, Obama & Romney are tied. However, it is the electoral map (from the 50 states) that determines the outcome. To win, a candidate needs 270 electoral votes. Currently, Obama has 201 and Romney has 191. 146 votes from 11 states are toss-ups. Of these states, Romney is leading in 3: Florida, Virginia and North Carolina, which gives him 248 votes. He is close to winning in the remaining 8 states. If he can add Ohio and Colorado, he will be over the needed 270.

The polls are wrong, the jobs report is a forgery and we're going to sit here with our hands over our years yelling, "la la la la la - Bengahzi - la la la la la!" BHO if the news media told Virginians what BHO has done to US Navy Admiral Charles M. Gaouette who was relieved from his command of CSG-3 and General Carter Ham who was relieved of command of AFRICOM because they objected to a stand down order from BHO not to help the US Ambassador in Benghazi who was under attack and murdered. The US military believes BHO is guilty of malfeasance of office in the Benghazi murders of US Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others. BHO is fearful of a military coup and is removing flag officers from their commands in his paranoia. WHEN oh WHEN is BHO going to be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors and malfeasance of office? Any Virginian who votes for BHO is a traitor to the US Constitution and the Republic in my opinion. Ditto any person in the USA who votes for BHO.
