There ws a time when widespread violence was part of British soccer culture. With strong enough measures that has lessened considerably -- although racism has not disappeared. Staying home is not the best answer. The leading figures in soccer must lead the campaign against racism. The England team visited Auschwitz and undertook to work in schools with the Holocaust Educational Trust to fight racism of all sorts. This is a better answer.
