1. What a family!
Steve ,   USA   (11.05.12)
Like father, like daughter. This woman is a real schlump. This creature is so typical of the young Jewish women that backs Obama. Jewish only in name.
2. His Royal holliness can shove it where the sun dont shine
David ,   Haifa, IL   (11.05.12)
Well done Susan Silverman at least she has principles and morals unlike the so called rabbi who attacks women who dont fit in to his alleged mould of what women should do in life, and quite frankly its none of his bussiness.
3. Sarah is funny, but since she is educated at the same time,
tom ,   tel aviv   (11.05.12)
she's clueless when it comes to politics and social matters. "Useful idiots" wasn't invented for nothing... Religion on the other hand, is hilarious on it's own so the Rebbe & Silverman are colleagues! No need for fighting.
4. Most people who aren't Rabbis who think she's vile
Avi   (11.05.12)
Rabbis speak up, everyone else just ignores.
5. i guess she hates christians as much as rabbis fo so that
excuses her pathetic ,   and boorish behavior   (11.05.12)
she is considered a jew, and as such brings nothing but shame to us. As for her accomplishments... well those are simply popularity gained from sickening insults and ill educated stunts
6. Foul Mouth and NOT FUNNY
Jeff ,   Jerusalem   (11.05.12)
Sara Silberman is talentless and not funny. She has built a career on cursing and talking dirty. Lenny Bruce did the same however, he had talent and was funny with real social satire as was George Carlin and Richard Pryor. Silberman is simply crude and rude. She was fired from Saturday Night Liveyears ago due to her lack of talent. When she was interviewed by Channel 2 last year--her responses were simply embarassing being unable to curse or tell a crude joke.
7. Sarah Silverman
American Sabrah   (11.05.12)
Like most comedians and celebrities, Sarah Silverman should stick to what she does best ; comedy. Unless she is seeking spiritual growth, she should not invoke religion; especially in her obscene comedy scripts. Despite of her political beliefs, this woman has a lot of growing up to do.
8. She is out of the norm for even for young Amricans
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (11.05.12)
With her talking about her many anal sex experiences.
9. foul language gets attention
ma nishma ,   modiin   (11.05.12)
She desires attention, since she really has little on the ball in terms of looks, humor or content, she resorts to foul language. Ho hum, I'll watch old Jack Benny videos on YouTube, at least he was not just Jewish, but really clever and funny.
10. the Rabbi and Ms. Silverman
Bear ,   zefat   (11.05.12)
The trouble with Ms. Silverman is she doesn't think for herself.. She's her father's puppet!
11. It seems that all weirdos are pro-Obama,
(11.05.12)
anti-rabbis and anti-establishment.
12. Therapy
OJ MD ,   Lala   (11.05.12)
Donald and Sarah need intensive therapy to work out their issues from Sarah's childhood
13. I think some people missed the Rabbi's point...
Ahuva ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (11.05.12)
He states that while he disagrees with her position, he respects her right to fight for it. All he asks is that she not invoke Jewish language and imagery in support of her not-so-Jewish beliefs...and I think, as an Orthodox Rabbi, he has a right to do so.
14. She is outrageous
Tomek ,   Poland   (11.05.12)
but this is exactly why she is funny. Lough at her jokes even if you have to feel guilty about it afterwards. Needless to say, I am looking forward to Silverman's reply to Rabbi Rosenblatt.
15. Emotionally AUTHENTICALLY or TALIBAN jewish? I'm with Sarah.
Jerry NON-POLITICAL ,   The Netherlands   (11.05.12)
16. Sarah is over the top but that's her shtick-no pun intended
Essie HaKohane ,   FL USA   (11.05.12)
Yes she is vulgar and crude, but that is her style. I don't consider her funny (most of the time), but that innocent demeanor of hers is so misleading. That is why, I am (and others) drawn to her comedic style. For those that don't like her style, turn to other entertainment that will satisfy you.
17. Sarah Silverman
moriah ,   sacramento usa   (11.05.12)
A chillul Hashem...
18.  SILVERMAN AND OBAMA
DA RAP ARTIST ,   SAFED OPERA HOUSE   (11.05.12)
She supports and endorses Obama so what else needs to be said about this intellectually challenged woman?
19. Sarah Silverman
Bertram ,   London, UK   (11.05.12)
I have not heard her so I do not know if she is funny. However, she seems to be performing a public service through allowing many people to huff and puff, and to express righteous indignation. Now, that can be funny.
20. Lord o the manor
Mea   (11.06.12)
Donald Solverman was right on the money. Who gVe this Rabbi the idea he can make the rules? I'll tell you who did not: the Lord.
21. WITH A FATHER LIKE THAT, NO WONDER POOR SARAH IS SO EFFED UP
ALBERTO   (11.06.12)
22. Rabbi: Only Ashkenazim are monogamous...
Orly Ziv-Bechar ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.06.12)
... due to a decree that was adopted by that community at one time and never undone (we don't know what the Sanhedrin holds for the future). And even then, it's only one wife at a time, but it's not a belief in "monogamy"; we're not Christians Now, tell me rabbi, whose the one espousing a non-Jewish ideology?
23. Who opens the eyes of the blind
Joe ,   Baltimore, USA   (11.06.12)
Yakov Rosenblatt has a brilliant command of language. He reminds me of the late Rabbi Professor Samuel Rosenblatt of Baltimore's Beth Tfiloh and Johns Hopkins. My mother was a nee Silverman, but I hope Sarah is not related to me or mine. She is crude and abuses Judaism. I hope she and her father wake up, as we say every morning, 'Blessed art Thou KIng of the universe Who opens the eyes of the blind.'
24. Number 22 monogamy
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (11.06.12)
Even in late Biblical times and certainly in Talmudic times polygamy was rare. Jews in practice were monogamous long before the official decree that confirmed it among Ashkenazim.
25. Why waste time on an infentile brat...
Daniel ,   TA - IL   (11.06.12)
who is not really funny however deep in the lefty shock culture (unless we talk islam; when the cowards become very respectful). Phatetic
26. Torah does not prohibit polygamy.
Az   (11.06.12)
It imposes constraints on it but doesn't ban it outright. If you could support more than one wife, and they didn't mind the arrangement, how would that be immoral?
27. she is a comedian. nothing more and
Barney ,   USA   (11.07.12)
she has no more credentials on political or religious matters. it is all about publicity. she can be funny. if you take her serious then of course she is offensive as are all comedians who push the lines of taste. giving her the legitimate audience is ynets big mistake. comedy is controversial and has been since lenny bruce. is her message as poignant. i think not. but hey she is good for a laugh. just don't base your politics, religion, or sex life on her schtick.
28. Exemplifing states of affairs in another way.
(11.07.12)
