1. It's like throwing bone (without meat) in front of dog!
Jew1 ,   Ashdod   (11.05.12)
Why Oct 1st? Why not according to european standards and till end of October? This is cheating. Our government is trying to full us. We want full justice and do not want to waste another full month in dark.
2. Yikes!
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.05.12)
Good to have DST extended - - - but - - - I will **never** be able to remember the new dates :D :D
3. An improvement but not enough
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (11.05.12)
They should either extend it as in line with North America or just abolish standard time completely and make DST the standard time. No-one really needs daylight before 6 o'clock in the morning in the winter. It's just a waste. Instead of that we should be able to enjoy winter sunshine until 6 in the evening.
4. BTW they abolished winter time in Jordan.
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (11.05.12)
And now they have DST all year round. Very sensible. Seems like there is also something to "learn" from them too.
5. Hmmm, thought it was a charadi plot
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (11.05.12)
But Ronit looks good enough to put it through. I agree with her, let us enjoy life. Israel is too beautiful to have early darkness.
6. shas agreed
dan   (11.05.12)
to 10 more days!!!WOW. we still have the shortest daylight saving time in the world. Thank you Shas!
7. Oh, silly dan, we don't have the shortest...
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.06.12)
... There are a bunch of countries, even in europe, that don't have daylight savings time at all. Last time I did the numbers, we have a longer daylight savings time than that.
8. Someone explained to Shas that ...
Haim ,   TA   (11.06.12)
people have to get up early to go to work in order to earn a living, but Shas replied "what is this word work" ?
