32. haber is plainly afraid right to the bone
milson   (11.07.12)
Eitan, this is too much with your worrrying and submissiveness. I ask you to join a karate course in the gym for a solid 2-3 years to toughen yourself up. if 6 million israelis have to die, they should go down fighting not begging obama and ban ki moon which is what you, olmert, livni, beilin and peres have been doing for years. Stop it already! Allies and friends yes but have some self regard and stop worrying!
33. A closeup would show the snake in his chair.

34. us / israel elections
chaim ,   pt israel   (11.07.12)
this article wasn't written with the U.S. elections in mind - it was written with the Israeli elections in mind. It was simply a way for the Left to try, as they are always doing, to discredit Bibi at every turn. Bibi never tried to influence the USelections - yet the Left would try to brainwash you into blaming him for all our ills.
35. Well Spoken Mr. Haber ....Well Spoken!
World Citizen ,   the world   (11.07.12)
36. Some proof please ?
Lenya ,   Australia   (11.07.12)
Your article is full of innuendos and incitements against the Israeli Prime Minister...How about showing some substantiated evidence of Mr Netanyahu calling for Romney's support and for the rejection of Obama ? Otherwise shut up and shipout.
37. "RAFI AS AN AMERICAN" #25
miriam ,   israel   (11.07.12)

38. Finally, relief time, Israel can mind its own business.

39. Things are often not what they seem
Tambour ,   Eilat   (11.07.12)
Obama's mandate is wafer thin . He knows he is lucky to get a second term Benghazi is not settled , and with the box now open, he tricks on Al Quaida sans Bin Laden alive strong spreading are become transparent. Economy failed , military unhappy, Mr Obama has his hands full ,a chance to patch up his mistakes to avoid a legacy of the worse USA President ever. We should see a different Obama, who will not dare swim further out, with plenty of hungry sharks in the water.
40. Obama will be busy leading his lemmings ove the fiscal cliff
Bob K ,   orlando USA   (11.08.12)
Sixteen trillion $$$$$ and counting. Financial disaster brought by Obama. Meanwhile Israel has a healthy economic growth rate, about 5% unemployment (7.9% in US) and utter political deadlock. Obama may try to deflect attention onto blaming Israel but it will not help him. In 2014 he will suffer great losses in the House of representtatives and a Democratic defeat in 2016. Israel will be even more prosperous.

Kol Hakavod! You are right on the mark.
42. Lesson for Obama
Ezekial Haim ,   London UK   (11.08.12)
Eitan has a one sided view here.Obama and the US government do not hold all the cards and there is a lesson for Obama from his failed middle east policies. He spent a lot of political capital trying to get Israel to stop construction in the so-called west bank but he gave up in the end and now has to contend himself with issuing disapproving statements every time a construction project is approved. The fiasco over the middle east may also have poisoned his relations with Congress and the Senate and cost him dearly. Also he managed to harden Abbas's position which was completely counterproductive to the peace efforts. We now have a more experienced and cautious Obama.
43. haber! not embarassed about your behavior in the restaurant?
