1. The name of the book in Hebrew is...
Avouskila ,   South America   (03.26.13)
Khesed Spharadi. I say yes to what the article says, but the book has multi layer conceptions, analogies and metaphores. Only those readers sensitive enough to read between the lines, might get the gest and the direction A.B. is leading the atuned reader. Do not forget his great book The journey at the end of the First Millinium. Plus, since his mother was from Mogador, Mr Yehushua was there in his teen and picked up some french. He did, therefor his military service quite late, as a result. The book you've translated as "retrospective" "Khesed Sfaradi" is retrospective only in the sense any work of art is retrspective, but the beauty of the book are the characters who segnify far more than just remeninising the Romain Myth (that has became the Ethos of the so-called Western civilisation), but it tells story from the current reality of Israel mythology.
