Whether you want to admit it or not, Obama has been Netenyahu's most reliable ally outside of Israel. Obama was the ONLY leader to back Israel at the UN on multiple occasions. Not a single European, Latin or Asian country backed Israel a single time at the UN regarding settlements or the Palestinian push for UN membership. In return, Obama was snubbed by Netenyahu and his cronies on several occasions, including when Biden visited. Netenyahu did a stupid thing by publicly backing Romney in the end, when he thought Romney had a strong chance at winning. Israel has been a spoiled brat of a nation who does NOT deserve our protection at the UN. If Netanyahu's behavior brings about a discussion in the U.S. about its unconditional support for Israel, that would be a good thing and long overdue. Bush saw Olmert an incompetent and he was fatuous when despite the fact that he had gone out of his way to delay the UN calling for a ceasefire in Lebanon give Olmert chance to do the job properly he screwed it up.
