Israel marginal in US elections     Yitzhak Benhorin
1. Whats wrong with you people
Don't you know when you are being conned/ I want a recount NOW!!!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.08.12)
2. 10% said Israel was their top priority
If the rest of the 90% experienced being stuck in a hostile country toward the jews, and knowing only Israel would stand for them, they will think diferently. I'm not refering only to the to ww2. God bless all FREE countries.
david ,   montreal, canada   (11.08.12)
3. For the sake of America they should have not reelected the
Muslim Kenyan
Marco ,   Spain   (11.08.12)
4. Bibi spews rhetoric about Iran?
Since when? Are they NOT spinning centrifuges? The American Jews simply care for themselves by voting 10%. They need to experience what Israeli's do on a daily basis and see what % votes next time.
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (11.08.12)
5. wellllll
they are NOT israeli and have NO say in israeli politics or in OUR home. vote ichud leumi! i support neftali bennet.
David ,   haifa   (11.08.12)
6. 70% of Jews Voted for Obama?
70% of Jews voted for Obama, and think he is bettere for Israel's security? That is shocking. Israel's safety and America's weakening support for Israel were two big reasons why I was dismayed Obama got re-elected. Israel deserves the USA's utmost support, and I believe Israel will find it waning under Obama.
Pat Sloan ,   Denton USA   (11.08.12)
7. Reform Jews are leftists, love arabs, don't visit Israel.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.08.12)
8. Jewish vote
We do care very much about Israel's security, however many of us have doubts about Bibi, as do many Israelis, including a number of former military & intel chiefs, And we also have confidence in our own intel services.
Leonard ,   Green River, U.S.A   (11.08.12)
9. Astounded
Firstly, it is absurd that jewish people in the US don't care about Israel. Secondly, even though they cite the economy as the major issue, they still voted for Obama!!!! In their eyes, a workout guy with a successful business career is worse for the economy than a community organizer than runs a $1.3 trillion annual deficit!!!
Rick ,   NY   (11.08.12)
10. in 2008, America proved they are not racists by voted Obama
i read something like these: "in 2008, Americans proven they are Not racists by voted for Obama. In 2012, Americans need to prove they are Not idiots by voting against Obama." oosp, they voted for Obama.... so what does that MEANS?
mary_of_bethany ,   singapore   (11.08.12)
11. Jewish vote in America will change when
They start getting blamed for the ills of the world, especially the lack of peace in the Middle East. It has already started overseas, and has germinated in America
Sam ,   Texas   (11.08.12)
12. American Jews are a conned group of
Democratic yuppies. They haven't the ability to see a real threat if it bit them in the buttocks. The United States has just become a European baby state with nobody willing to fight for freedom or protect themselves any longer. You don't really believe all of us who joined the military and volunteered our services... are going to keep carrying a bunch of pansies around on our shoulders protecting them anymore do you? This is a turning point ....as we metamorphasize into a nanny state...where everyone thinks they get to sit around and be taken care of like Europeans. The military is going to take sharp cuts....and the little boy in the White House hasn't got the guts to join the Navy Seals... to save the day. Neither do his two little darling daughters. Israel is on its own. Russia and China are the new superpowers now. Cut a deal with them as soon as you can. Our country just turned into a bunch of Liberal Girlscouts.
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (11.08.12)
13. Israel has always been marginal in the US.
Israeli politicians and some fringe people in the US would like to bluff their way by making a lot of noise to pretend they are influencing the course of events in the US. The American Jews are predominantly patriotic. They put the interests of the US ahead of the Apartheid state.
Persian CAT   (11.08.12)
14. To No. 1
Come on, old girl, chin up! You know you can't have a recount. The electoral college margin was pretty wide. Anyhow, it's only another four years. Best foot forward!
Bertram ,   London, UK   (11.08.12)
15. The very best thing about Obama's re-election...
...is that it has once and for all broken the link between US politics and Israeli politics. By throwing his weight against Obama, Bibi has probably not done much short term damage to Israel. But long-term it's now proven that US Jews don't vote on Israel. So Bibi has greatly diminished the power of the pro-Israel lobby. Well done!
John ,   London   (11.08.12)
16. Liberal U.S. Jews are no friends of Israel !!!
What's the similarity between liberal American Jews and Muslims? They both don't give a darn about Israel.
Frank ,   Los Angeles, U.S.   (11.08.12)
17. The truth is......
the real religion of most American Jews is liberalism, not Judiaism. Most are cowards too afraid to defend themselves, much less Israel.
Cynic ,   USA   (11.08.12)
18. The more marginal,
the better for Israel. The jewish state can defend itself. What help get Israel from the USA in 1948, and before ?
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (11.08.12)
19. #7 And so what?
For sure that with people like you, we don't want to visit Israel. I wasn't born in Israel, a country that is a disgrace to humanity, then why should I? There are tons of other more interesting places in the world
American Liberal Jew ,   USA   (11.08.12)
