Clearly you do not know the difference. Slander is spoken defamation, which is not the case here. Libel is written defamation, which is not the case here either -- for one thing, Lady Ashton is a public official and libel laws do not apply in the same way that they do for ordinary citizens. Secondly, it's not libel if it's true. If anything, the State of Israel should sue Lady Ashton for slander -- the settlements in Judea and Samaria are certainly not illegal, and it is monstrous that Lady Ashton should continuously promulgate a falsehood. At a minimum, she should be severely censured.
