1. He is a criminal
sns   (11.09.12)
"Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Thursday that he intends to become "very involved in the attempts to replace the government" in Israel." What is going on? What makes him think the Israel voter wants him to do anything? I for one think he needs to feel some shame for what he was convicted of and crawl in some hole and keep quiet. and I hope the same for Leiberman.
2. #2 he is
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (11.09.12)
...a Leftist, which means he can't be a criminal. Look at Sharon, accused by Edna Arbel for severe corruption. All he had to do is call for violence against Jews, the charges were dropped and he became an Ethrog.
3. # 1
Edgar ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.09.12)
He is innocent until proven guilty. I personally think he is a crook ,but it is the courts of law that shall decide . When a final decision is made by our courts I will accept their decision with respect.
4. Olmert - go home - you're not wanted.
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (11.09.12)
5. Olmert is more radical then Meretz
Dan Kelso   (11.09.12)
This fool Olmert wants to put the Wailing Wall under PA, Jordanian, Saudi Arabian control with Israel. Does Olmert see Saudi Arabia giving up control of their holy sites to Jews? If Olmert ever got back in power, you would have Arab insider attacks against Jews at the Wailing Wall all the time. Olmert is more radical then Meretz. Even Meretz doesn't want to put the Wailing Wall under any Arab control Olmert needs to shut up. Olmert tried to appease the butcher Assad by giving away the Jewish Golan. Go Home Olmert and stay away from running.
6.  here is a question-
oded ,   usa   (11.09.12)
how come a convicted criminal, an inept corrupt and incompetent politician(if you could even call olmert one), be even considered for ANY elected position in the israeli govt?
7. What a sleaze!
Rachel ,   US   (11.09.12)
8. I hope Olmerts involvement is nothing more than
A ,   Belgium   (11.09.12)
sitting on the coach eating Bamba and watching Likud/IB get 60 mandates.
9. olmert wants back in
tommy   (11.09.12)
so olmert wants back in. I say this clearly so no one can misunderstand. If israelis were to vote for olmert given what he has done to israel, then the people do not deserve a country, now today or forever period. They should as zohar said go back to poland or the US.
10. What is wrong with Israeli leaders?
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.09.12)
As despicable as Olmert is; let's not kid ourselves. There are many like him in the Knesset. What is wrong with Israeli leaders? In America, for instance, a liberal Democrat is a liberal Democrat for their entire career. A conservative Republican is a conservative Republican for their entire career. In Israel, ideology means nothing for many politicians. They put on ideology and take it off like a jacket. Israel is full of courageous, wise men and women. Yet the Knesset is mostly full of soulless, power hungry fools; many of whom would sell out their own mother if the price was right.
