Wasn't Likud supposed to be "tough on national security?" All I've seen from them so far has been Netanyahu revealing himself to be a complete paper tiger on Iran and then letting southern Israel get repeatedly rocketed with no response.

IDF must create a buffer zone a few miles from the border fence inside the Gaza Strip.
The residents in this zone must be warned to evacute or else they are taking their lives into their own hands.
In case of further attacks, add a mile to the buffer zone and make it into no-man's land.
If still no joy, gradually go all the way to Gaza City.

Gaza Arabs feel better when the surrounding lands are pitted with high explosive shell damage. They like looking at buildings that resemble Swiss cheese.
As the fighting escalates, the argument for annexation of Arab occupied Israel, and removal of hostiles becomes more mainstream and rational....and overdue.
