the pyramids as "idols" just like the taliban did to the huge Buddhist sculptures in afghanistan. When mubarak was in office the average wage was $2 a day, now it has to be much less with far fewer tourists and if they succeed in destroying the pyramids there will be no tourists at all. It always starts with "allow". Then there will be pressure exerted on the women who do not wear it. Eventually all will be wearing the headscarves "voluntarily'. Then the women will "ask" the government to make it compulsory. As the government is "democratic", it will accede to this request.
