The court has finally dumped its socialist ideology with the beautifully expressed "if you don't give them money, they'll have to work".
I call on the government to adopt the court's position: no money to Haredim or to "artists" or to single mothers or to students or to the poor.
2. Cut their benefits they will soon get a job
unfortuently with the likes of Shas who openly encourage there brainless flock of sheep to sponge off the state the status quo will not change. Stop their funding all together and they will soon get a job

4. Discrimination against women?
You can't apply non-Jewish situations to a Jewish society. Women do not spend years full-time in yeshivah, so the question of discrimination against women is unrealistic. Orthodox women can do alternative national service. Any major transition as this post-Tal situation needs to be done at a reasonable pace. The IDF needs time and the students also need time. Down by7 22% so far suggests change is taking place.

There are those students who study and study very hard and there are those who pass time while sipping tea and schmozing on their kosher phones.
There should be a clear definitive manner to weed out the creeps and give their stipend money to the serious men who will eventually turn it into betterment of the Jewish educational system as teachers, rabbis etc.
