31. and that the threat on the residents of south and central Is
rogerlen ,   love of Israel   (11.16.12)
the government and security estlabishment must have been on vacation all this time, as the terror on the south has not let up on its residents. and has been increasing. and curiously only when it came close to tel aviv did the government actually do anything with any teeth.. we needed to quit this tit for tat game and for each rocket launch from Gaza vicinity should be met with a very very harsh response.. not the response we have grown used to being allowed to give.. I fully believe if the IDF are allowed to do their thing, we would see less and less daily and weekly terror attacks against us. send them to meet thier god and get those 72 virgins, ( do they realize the Koran does not specify species or race? it is just assumend to be women. or am i wrong here... any ways.. with both Hamas and Fatah supporting the terrorist families, and those families in Israeli Prisions Fatah is really no better than Hamas.. just smarter. so let the IDF go and do its thing and then back them up.. send out your advisors and embassadors and let the world know what has been going on and NOW what you are planning to do... and stick to it.
32. Perfect for Iran
David ,   Garland, USA   (11.16.12)
This seems to favor Iran. Tie up Israel militarily. Sew more hatred towards Israel in the Arab world such that Any sort of tacit cooperation is difficult for an attack on Iran. Divert bad attention onto Israel. Make it more difficult from a public relations perspective to attack Iran. Sounds like the Irans playing chess, perhaps. If so, pull the trigger. Make proxy warfare untenable. Just a thought.
33. Typical treatise from a godless heathen!!!
Taz Man ,   USA   (11.16.12)
The writer has no understanding of God's prophetical word. Israel will, eventually, be fighting on all fronts. The Palestinians will be wiped-out! Jordan taken; Damascus destroyed in one night; Lebanon destroyed; five areas of Egypt will be speaking Hebrew. These are just some of the facts found in God's prophetical word. There will be a seven-year peace treaty signed between Israel and a leader that arises out of the EU; but, God's word calls it a "treaty with death." Israel will, shortly, rebuild the 3rd Temple, which will be desecrated at the mid-point of the treaty. At end of the seven-year treaty, Israel's Messiah comes and saves a remnant promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. There is so much more. The "time of Jacob's trouble" is almost upon Israel. Pray hard; some rough times are coming; again, pray hard!!!
34. Missing the point
Marc ,   Chicago, USA   (11.16.12)
The reason why Hamas and Israel are attacking each other is because Israel chose not to enter Gaza during the cast lead operation which led to the blockade. Hamas is stirring up the present conflict for a variety of reasons not the least of which is to test Egypt's support for Hamas and Teheran's support for Islamic Jihad. Frankly, both Egypt and Israel need to know how far Egypt will go to support Hamas and more importantly Israel needs to consider doing whatever it takes to stamp out Hamas if it will not live peacefully next to Israel. Jerusalem knows very well that Gaza has been improving the range of its rockets and it doesn't take much to get them to launch these new weapons and it also knows that due to the Arab Spring and the rise of Islamism in Turkey and Arab states that support or at least tolerance for the blockade is waning. the status quo needs to change and the timing of the conflict is ultimately to Israel's benefit, Egypt is not ready to use its military against Israel and it is very important that Egypt's new government to make the choice early on that conflict with Israel will lead to disaster.
35. The immeadiate lessons learded...
Gideon Reader   (11.17.12)
...is that any fantasy about a demilitarised PA, politically headquartered in Judea-Samaria is simply delusional. A quick review of a map will show even the most sub moronic leftist that those dreams are self abusive and worse, just plain silly. Among real threats, military operating room and strategic depth is as important as it has ever been throughout history. The simple lesson learned and one to be taught (to HAMAS and it's supporters) is another Naqba is the payment for this series of negative activity. Bad behavior does not get rewarded. ANNEX Judea-Samaria now.
