First, I want to say that I fully appreciate your point of view and understand why you have it. However, There are many like myself that are Jew at heart, Israeli at heart and would love to be there if it were possible. For me it isn't. I suffer the same broken heart and anger whenever Israel is touched by her enemies. If I were not an elderly 100% disabled, financially strapped person I would be there if I had to swim and the first thing I would do is enlist in the IDF. INoam Shalit does not consider the possibility of the PA returning to Gaza. If the terror groups are sufficiently weakened and the Gaza public want a better life then a stronger PA could return and take control. It would need internatipnal help but would that happen?
