Before the joint US-Israeli drill, the percentage of intercepted rockets by the Iron Dome batteries were about 75% (what I have figured out from the news reports). AFTER the drill, that was aimed at calibrating the Iron Dome system and stream line it with other defense systems, the percentage of intercepted rockets, as reported in the news, is down to 30%! Only 30 out of a full one hundred rockets were taken out before impact on the ground! This, to me, raises several question marks. Is the same personell operating the Iron Dome batteries as before the joint drill? Did their orders change in any way? Or did the changes/calibrations of the system in conjunction to other systems decrease its technical accuracy??? The decline in number of intercepted rockets is clearly devastating for the people in southern Israel at the moment, and one only hopes that any faults in the system will be corrected ASAP. Or is it that the soldiers are unaccustomed to the real fighting scenario???

Nobody forced those people to leave. They were told they could come back when Israel had been destroyed. They were offered their own state several times and refused for 2 reasons. #1 because they want all of Israel and # 2 because they are a stupid backward people. It may not be that Iron dome is inefficient because it is a selective system that aims only to shoot down missiles likely to cause damage to in built up centers. However I would maintain that a supplementary system of barrage balloons would also take out a number of missiles . It worked during ww2 in preventing a number of V1 rockets from reaching their targets in London. it would be a low cost additional protection plus a morale booster for the besieged southern population who would visibly see that the authorities are doing everything they can to protect them

You need to know who is the real terrorist. In Gaza: 16 people killed. What's shocking is most of them are civilians including : 2 infants (11 months, and 2.5 years), 2 kids, a pregnant woman, and 2 old men. Wake up world, don't believe rich maniancs who can control the world with their money.
