I doubt South Korea has capability to defend itself against any kind of attack. They are tottally dependent of USA.

It's quite likely that the anti-Israel demonstrators in Seoul are by a minority of left-wing radical nutjobs. The truth is, the majority of South Koreans don't care one way or the other, but among those South Koreans who do have an opinion on the Middle East, more support Israel than not as there are a lot of pro-Israel evangelical types in S.
