1. Funding of 10 more Iron Domes is more important than what
Miron ,   USA   (11.19.12)
these clowns say, ever.
2. Please do not do an "Olmert - Livni" Stupidity
Ahmad Cohen ,   Ibn Mousa HaLevy   (11.19.12)
Send it back to a committee somewhere in Siberia. Make sure that you do a feasibility study. Apply for all necessary permits. Get the required stamps and approvals. Send it to the Keneset for discussion, etc. In the meantime the Israeli residents of the South suffered for 12 years under the rocket fire from Gaza. Shalit was kidnapped and held captive for over 5 years. Gaza has at least 17 years to pay for. We should be able to back off the bombings by 2029 or maybe knock off a few years if they stop the rocket fire against our cities. Maybe 2022.
3. another bitter and shameful defeat for Israel
CHAIM.S 54ST ,   BROOKLYN NY   (11.19.12)
Instead of crushing and eliminating Hamas once and for all, this criminaly insane, self hating pathetic cowardly leftist regime, has fought a bunch of terrorists to an even draw. Israel under this leftist regime has lost all it's self respect, and has become the laughing stock of the world, the arabs are now laughing in their face, all the fear they had once of Israel is gone, get ready for the rockets from the north,Hezbbolah has just learned a lesson, you can shoot thousands of rockets into Israel, with absolutely no consequences p[eople of Israel you are doomed, please please,in the coming elections, make sure you vomit out this traitorous leftist regime, and vote in a government ,that would protect it's people and country

civilians. Typcial Barak the coward.
5. The womanizer Clinton is now a man of "enormous prestige"...
Jack ,   San Diego, USA   (11.19.12)
...what a joke!
6. talk peace
european   (11.19.12)
without a real peace process this is all the region will ever have. bloody little episodes, longer little truces. only the dead won't come back, nor will the killers ever wash the blood off their hands. so start a real peace process. negotiate. start building a compromise, it's ALWAYS possible among sane people. it's the 21st century. there is no place for this unspeakable savagery.
7. Israel is winning, don't get on your knees now.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.19.12)
8. The drive-by media and Syria
Farluru   (11.19.12)
While the `aza conflict is ongoing, all news about the Syrian civil war in the global media has stopped, there is no way to find out what is going on there. It seems the lamestream media is able to only follow one story, and that very badly with a lot of incorrect misinformation.
9. arranging truce
Yoel ,   ossining,ny   (11.19.12)
How will a truce end the threat of Hamas possessing more and better rockets?
10. No Way
Moshe ,   Givataim   (11.19.12)
Dont do this stupid mistake and accept this agreement. This terrorists are still fireing on us, so we should increase our attacks. DONT ACCEPT
11. Bibi/Liebermann
Mira ,   Vienna   (11.19.12)
If you make a mistake now and get less tough, your government will vanish in January and be remembered as the most ineffective in Israel history!
12. Ehud Barak is Israel's strongest card.
Michael ,   California, USA   (11.19.12)
It is very encouraging that Ehud Barak is the Defense Minister at this critical time. Pay no attention to the right wingers criticizing Barak. He is the best DM in Israeli history, a true military professional. It makes absolutely no sense to call Barak "a leftist", although I am certain he is to the left politically from those fascists who criticize him. Any government that will be formed in Israel after the elections in January should make certain Ehud Barak remains in the role of a defense Minister, or something equivalent to it. That's the only way to keep winning against Hamas.
13. Haim#4 Titbayesh lecha
Miche Norman ,   Hod Hasharon   (11.19.12)
Haim - this is a right wing government that we have - if you think that they are leftist than what do you want attilah the hun? Very brave words spoken from a long way away -
14. Chaim from Brooklyn, sure is easy to lecture when...
Shadoil ,   Jerusalem   (11.19.12)
It's not your kids and friends who's lives are at stake! And if you feel so strong about it leave BP and come live with us. Then MAYBE then you will have a right to put OUR lives on the line. CHUTZPAH !!!
15. Our pilots are out of touch!!
Yoav ,   Tel aviv   (11.19.12)
Do they realize how many kids, woman , and innocent civilians they have killed? You call that accurate intelligence. I wonder how they spend the rest of lives knowing they killed innocent people. Instead of being heros, they are being killers....wake up Israel....before it's too late...
16. Ground operation.
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (11.19.12)
If Hamas does not stop firing rockets and agree to a true peace, Israel should warn them of the consequences. The IDF will go in and clean house in Gaza, leaving no stone unturned. That will be the price for THEIR escalation of violence on innocent Israeli civilians from THEIR rockets. We need the Israel of old to stand up and protect their citizens, not an Israel who cow-tows to world opinion. Israel is always held to a higher standard when it comes to war. Israel did NOT start this fight. The Europeans, or any other country would not tolerate a single rocket being shot into one of their states, so why should Israel? Israel HAS to finish the job this time or pay for the mistake of a false truce. Enough is enough!
17. Truce
Moshico ,   Jerusaelm   (11.19.12)
If a truce is signed Israel must state that if one rocket gets fired on to Israel Israel will go in an kill the lot of them. There has been rockets raining down on Israel since 2001 do you really think they will stop.
18. hatred
Mauricio Zuniga ,   Mountain View   (11.20.12)
I think it's terrible that the children of military targeted homes are dying! Who will carry on the generational hatred of the Jews? It is sad to know that as they carry and look at their childrens lifeless bodies, it was all due to their hatred towards Jews....
19. Do an "Arab Truce"
steve from raleigh   (11.19.12)
That is, wait 10 days and go back to it.
20. capitulation?
Lance ,   Cape Town RSA   (11.19.12)
As much as I don't want to admit it,if your govt accepts a truce now ( with missiles still flying about ) and not finishing the job it set out to do,they have just handed beloved Israel on a silver platter to her enemies. All respect/deterrence will be lost and the people of the south will have to endure more missiles. From what I'm reading here, seems like the politicians have already thrown Israel to the wolves.
21. No peace talks until missiles stop being fired at Israell
DOV ,   USA   (11.20.12)
Please. DO not negotiate until they stop firing. They will just declare victory and this insane cycle will go on forever.
22. Peace
Mark gross ,   Hewlett ny   (11.20.12)
If the Arabs would put down their weapons there would be peace if Israel would put down their weapons there would be no Israel
23. Peace
Brian ,   Lynbrook New York   (11.20.12)
If the Arabs would put down their weapons there would be peace if Israel would put down their weapons there would be no Israel
24. #15 All Blame Lies on Hamas for shooting at our citizens
meir elazar   (11.20.12)
while hiding behind theirs. The pilot's and government's first priority is the safety of Israeli citizens. HAMAS is targeting both our and their citizens for propaganda purposes while no one gives a damn about Palestinians. They were expelled from Jordan and Lebanon and are the epicenter of world terror. When Jews and Israelis are not existentially threatened by the HAMAS Charter and Iran, I might consider the welfare of Palestinians who live in a militant society dedicated to our destruction. They voted for Hamas to represent the Palestinians and frank my dear I don't give a damn.
25. When the Hudna really leads to Peace and not Resupply of Arm
meir elazar   (11.20.12)
The only reason the terrorists would want a ceasefire is because their missiles are rapidly being depleted and they wish to manufacture, smuggle, and resupply. With a highly effective counter measure of Iron Dome along with dramatic military superiority without risking valuable Israeli lives, we should continue exactly what we are doing until we deliver a totally humiliating defeat to the terrors. We must continue to decapitate the terrorist leadership and rocket launchers until they beg us unconditionally to stop. Furthermore it must come with full assurances of no repeat of missiles with the reliable countries behind the assurances. This does not include Egypt, Turkey, France, or other unreliable Moslem countries.
26. "Unjustifiable suffering of civilians" is the REASON!!!!!
My Planet Israel ,   LA-Jerusalem   (11.20.12)
The unjustifiable suffering of Israeli civilians was the entire reason for the launch of the operation to begin with! What the hell is wrong with this world? "A cessation of fire from both sides'? WTH is wrong with people!? If Israel stops now, Hamas will CLAIM VICTORY in being able to attack Jerusalem & Tel Aviv and that their rocket fire CONTINUED throughout the operation. This is only embolden them and lead to catastrophic events in the future. ISRAEL MUST NOT CAVE IN TO INTERNATIONAL LEFT WING RADICALISM: DESTROY HAMAS AND ALL TERROR GROUPS IN THE STRIP!!!! DON'T STOP!!!!!
27. Hamas must raise the white flag.
Ben ,   Free world   (11.20.12)
Hamas must surrender. Anything else will only lead to more rockets in the future.
28. Peace in Syria
Philip ,   Johannesburg   (11.20.12)
I am so pleased to hear that there must be peace in Syria because no-one seems to be concerned about the thousands of civilians murdered there. But because a group of muderous gangsters use women and children as human shields and they get hurt , everyone is in a flap. 100 people killed in Gaza vs 35000 killed in Syria why isn't Ban Ki Moon visiting Damascus?
29. seems Israel is now being ruled by
(11.20.12)
Caeser Obama from Washington DC
30. Think about the widows and orphans
Jerome ,   New Zealand   (11.20.12)
And my Mum who never recovered and my aunt who died less than a year after her fallen son. Having lost both my brother and my first cousin I do not wish any other family to go through hell. They both left widows and 4 + 3 orphans respectively. But it is not ending there, we still have the parents and siblings, plus the mourning periods, the kaddishes, the Yartzeits to observe and of course life which will never be the same again. I get up and call my mum, I get ready for bed and call my mum. She still cries and makes me cry every day. I was on the tank forces- I assumed that I also killed someone's son, husband and brother. I am no leftist in anyway, but I learned the cost to my family.
