1. A day of shame...
Avi ,   Israel   (11.21.12)
This is the most humiliating defeat that we ever had in our short history. To give in to Hamas conditions for a cease fire is beyond comprehension. What kind of stupid leaders did we elect?
2. No! Netanyahu You Are Wrong! Hudna Is Evil!
Robert Blum ,   New Albany, USA   (11.21.12)
The right and most effective option would be to make the Gaza TOTALLY uninhabitable for Islam! Hudna is a fix that only benefits Islam! They'll re-arm and try again to fulfill what their Quran dictates, which is, to destroy the Jews; to annihilate Israel.
3. Peace for Tel Aviv?
Sidney ,   USA   (11.21.12)
Barak stated: "Even in this late hour, rockets continue to fall on Israeli territory. Southern communities in Israel will continue to be under attack in the coming days." So the children of Sderot will not be defended. I can't believe this.
4. It has become absolutely clear that Israel won't do anything
Oleg ,   USA   (11.21.12)
as soon as Clinton arrived with t bag full of money. Shame, people will continue to die! HAMAS - have won this battle. Bibi, I ve wonder how is the taste of Obama's behind, sweet isn't it?
5. The Palestinian people have emerged with a symbolic victory!
(11.21.12)
No real winner though! I am sorry for the civilian victims, women and children and the elderly! I repeat NO WINNER
6. One picture = 1000 words
Israeli 2   (11.21.12)
Look at the faces of the 3 stooges. They are NOT funny and NOT happy. They were smothered by love and kisses and so....they are paralyzed to do what is best for Israel.
7. You Can Not Make Peace With Terrorists.
Dan ,   USA   (11.21.12)
For Bibi to put any faith in Obama or the terrorist leaders is a complete sham and a victory for terror. It is time Israel elects a leader that puts Israel and it's Jewish population first. Does such a leader exist in Isreal today? The reason Israel has been fighting wars since it's existance is that the Jewish state has never been allowed, by the U.S. and the international community,to be completely victorious. Israel has been allowed to win battles but only complete victory insures real peace. And after each shut down the next battle has become more difficult. Select a leader that puts Isreal first.
8. #5 a real victory
(11.21.12)
1/3 of Israel population in shelters, 50% of children with PTSD, small businesses failed, houses worthless. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem bombarded After spending about 100 million shekels, the IDF turns out to be a worthless paper tiger that can't defeat some poorly trained idiots with rockets. In one week, IDF killed less enemy than die in Syria or Afghanistan in a day. Hamas learned how to overcome Iron Dome, and now only needs to rearm and retrain for the next round, when convenient for them.
9. ELECT A STRONGER LEADER THAN BIBI
A.C.Guard ,   USA   (11.21.12)
Neither Obama, the UN, nor the rest of the world cares about the existence of a Jewish state. Bibi is turning out not to be the answer.
10. STOP SUCKING UP TO OBAMA!
Devorah   (11.21.12)

No peace with terrorists, or we will need to take it in our own hands
14. Idiots!
Joshua ,   USA   (11.21.12)
As an Israeli - I bow my head in shame! I have no words to describe how I feel regarding this act of cowardness that emboldens Israel 'senemies. If I was a Hezballon or Iranian right now - I would laugh my ass off.
15. the govt has betrayed Israel
Lance ,   Cape Town RSA   (11.21.12)
I'm jewish - I feel a sense of absolute betrayel by this govt to the people of Israel.Folks, there's an election coming up- vote these week kneed Obummer lovers out.I say again, may Yahweh bless his people Israel.
16. Good Move
Yoav ,   Ottawa   (11.21.12)
Prosperity is the fundamental thing that is most important to Israel over the long term. Peace is a fairytale. Conflict will always exist no matter what. Ultimately the best thing Israel can do is continue on its course while continuing to invest in human capital. This is what sets that country apart from its neighboors. Hamas is predictable and to a certaine extent it is manageable. As long as they and the Palestinian Authority remain unreconciled, Palestinian statehood will continue to be a far and distant memory. Meanwhile, Israel will continue to grow.
17. Israel you lost our support and respect! Bye
naro ,   nyc   (11.21.12)
18. Barak's $5M apartment is in Tel Aviv.. do you think he CARES

19. Political Cowards. Elections => Jewish lives
Yitzi ,   Beit Shemesh   (11.21.12)
Bibi, Liberman you fools. You wimped out because you lacked the guts to make a tough decision in the face of an election. Now the Jewish people will once again pay the price for the cowardice of it's leadership.
20. #12: Vote for...
Hugo ,   Berlin   (11.21.12)
Moshe Feiglin. He seems to be the right man for Israel in these days. He gives the right answers to all of these problems. Hopefully he will make it to the top of the Likud list.
21. To USA Israel is not more than an inferior colony
Vardina   (11.21.12)
22. What a sad joke....
marat ,   ottawa, canada   (11.21.12)
So Barak is telling Israelis that those poor PALs just need more time to stop trying to kill more Israelis. This is UNBELIEVABLE! Its as if Israel is a Babysitter for Terrorists--it has to coddle them to stop instead of KNOCKING OUT THEIR POWER GRID in response to MAINTAINING ATTACKS--EVEN AFTER a SUPPOSED AGREEMENT. And the revolving door/dance of Arab Terror continues until next time...Why Israel does not attack with a DEFINITIVE OBJECTIVE is totally bizarre...and ultimately more dangerous than acting sooner rather than waiting for even worse weapons to rain down upon the citizens of Israel. Israel--you are almost a laughing stock right now. Its almost like some sport...and you are willing to absorb even more rockets for who knows how long, all with no retaliation on Hamas. Duh.....
23. It does not matter
sam ,   colorado-USA   (11.22.12)
Is far more pronounced, Three monkeys in front of you in last the Magic turned against the magician A play they made to improve their electoral situation It does not matter Any security people Any home, shame to the dustbin of history

25. Weak gvt
anon ,   israel   (11.22.12)
I hope a rocket will fall in bibi's garden. You lost a lot of votes!
26. Give cease fire a chance? How many do they get!
L Peres ,   Atlanta,Ga.U.S.A.   (11.22.12)
Here's a definition of "Insanity" Continuing to do the same thing over and over, time and again, and expecting different results! A cease fire will only legitimize hamas and bolster their political position. Thugs are thugs, terrorist are torrorist.(Do you really want to strengthen their position) Has the israeli Gov. lost it's mind. This is pure "INSANITY"
27. The Subtle Difference!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (11.22.12)
War should not be determined by politics, it should be guaged by killing the enemy. After they're all dead...then let the politicians' do what they do best: TALK! And while they talk, let the warriors go home in peace....
28. why not give peace a chance
Dear Mr. Prime Minister: I think you should be brave like Itzhak Rabin, who gave the peace a chance, but after you came to the power, we only saw war after war. Please think about us please
29. #17.naro: Most of us concur with you
Tom W ,   USA   (11.22.12)
It's over for Israel. The disintegration under Obama's order will be exponentially speedy. These stooges are so coward that them don't have the decency to save some face and reveal to the people Obama's threats under which they accepted defeat.
30. Give ceasefire a chance
Gene   (11.22.12)
