Like BDS and Occupy "whatever we want"? Most reports coming from the media, not just US, show about 50% of those killed in Gaza were civilians, and about half of those were kids. But taken with a grain of salt, the numbers expressed by even the Gazan health office should be seen with skepticism. In the 2008 war many considered civilians by the health office were applauded by Islamic Jihad and Hamas on their websites as their members, complete with martyrdom videos and pictures in fatigues. Just because you refuse to believe it doesn't mean its not true. I'm sure you still consider the 1400 killed during Cast Lead to be almost all civilians too even though Hamas admitted 1000+ were fighters from IJ and Hamas.
