The Suez Canal is no longer the cash cow it once was -- the vessels are getting too large, the Egyptians charge outrageous fees for transiting the Canal, the threat of piracy jacks up maritime insurances to the point where it is far cheaper to simply go around the Cape, and the cost of marine diesel fuel has dropped. Egypt has no culture, and it has lost nearly all its commerce. There ARE no deals to be made. Morsi didn't just hiccup, sweet cheeks, he threw up. And there is no basis for comparison to a United States who needed to quell a very real terror threat. If you're not a terrorist, you have nothing to fear from post-September 11 legislation. If you are -- well, that's a whole 'nother matter, isn't it? Most of the jury damage awards were reversed on appeal, by the way. You need to get caught up on the facts.
