Aisha Truss ,   Chicago USA   (11.26.12)
I'm disappointed. There are better ways to build peace in Israel and Palestine than raising funds to incite violence. It's easy and instinctive to fight, our minds, faiths, and music should be sources of strength to deal with the complexity of practicing non violence. I'm a Black American who was discriminated against in Tel Aviv's airport because my name is Aisha, like your daughter.
10. #9 Come up with a better story
Ron ,   US   (11.26.12)
They're not going to waste time discriminating against you because of your name. Doubt you've ever been to Israel. So bravo to Stevie Wonder and the organizers of this important event.

Logic ,   Israel   (11.26.12)
Sorry to hear about your bad experience, but even my white catholic friend with a common American name received a hard time at the airport, so I wouldn't take it too personally. In any case, Stevie Wonder is apparently following MLK and Ray Charles in their support for the Jews and Israel. I do take issue with your "raising funds for violence" statement, since that's equivalent to saying that there were better ways to make peace during the Civil War rather than raising funds for the Union army.
12. May God bless all those who support Israel!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (11.26.12)
Go Israel! Go IDF!

16. Aisha.....are you certain....
Koose E Mack ,   NY NY   (11.26.12)
As someone who works for the Govt. at a major US Airport....I can tell you that if we do our job....people tend to pull the discrimination card. Were you humiliated or degraded in a mental or physical manner? Or were you detained for a few questions? If you were questioned about your reasons for visiting Israel....do you have relatives there? Who packed your bags...etc...then you were not discriminated against....Out of necessity, everyone is asked those questions.
17. Number 10
Tony Durelli ,   Williamsburg NY   (11.26.12)
You are so right.. I am as pale white as a person can be . I find the security gauntlet at United States Airports much more intense and inconvenient than Israel..In fact Israel is much easier than most places because they investigate every passenger and they know everything about you long before they see your face..The racial thing in our country is much worse than it was in the 1950s..Hatred towards white people is rampant here in the USA.
18. I was made to love Israel
Tim Duroski ,   Melville USA   (11.26.12)
Israels been my inspiration, Show Israel appreciation For the love Israel gave Stevie through the years.
19. to shadi

He is not blind. He sees more with his heart and brain than you with your empty vision and your sick and destructive views. Why do you all dwell in misery? Because you love it.
20. Stevie Wonder
Humi ,   South Africa   (11.27.12)
By being part of this event Stevie, you are asking for trouble and putting your career at risk. But no matter how much money you raise at this event, the Muslims will always be victorious! Allahu Akbar! :D :D
21. #20 Little guy in front computer
Dina ,   US   (11.28.12)
So victorious that one Arab/Muslim country after the other is going up in flames. Just bitter because you can only listen to Islamic music.
22. Stevie Wonder IDF

Sam ,   Canada   (11.28.12)
Muslims victorious? Exactly when? The 1948 war? The Sinai Campaign? The Six Day war? The Yom Kippur war? Israel is stronger than ever today and you are as delusional as ever. You do your people no favour when you call your crushing defeats "victory". What complete nonsense. You would do better to acknowledge that Israel is here to stay and make peace.
27. @ #20 Humi
Sarah ,   Canada   (11.29.12)
I agree with Humi, Definitely Muslims are victorious! Perhaps they get bombed and killed but our spirit is never defeated! Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, people are accepting islam by the dozens as we speak #fact
28. And: CANCELLED (BDS win)
Fox V ,   New York   (11.29.12)
Thanks, Stevie for doing the right thing and cancelling
