Poll: Americans, Canadians oppose nuclear Iran    Yitzhak Benhorin
1. Well, well, well!
Nine out of ten? That would certainly constitute an overwhelming majority. The Iranians are not going to be very happy. Then again, who cares?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.26.12)
2. Survey taken among people at synagogue exit
Otherwise nobody in the world care if Iran had nuke and wiped Israel off the map or not. Stance of World Public against Last Israeli defeat in Gaza showed this fact. How can you believe such survey as rest of the world against you during Israel bombarding Gaza
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (11.26.12)
3. Tayfun # 2
How can you believe such survey as rest of the world against you during Israel bombarding Gaza Only the Muslim world and it doesn't count.
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (11.26.12)
4. Sarah B,
With Harper as PM of Canada, USA, Canada and Israel stand side to side against the islamic tyranic powers. I remind you that, in 1979, the canadian embassy hide and got out americans who escaped the USA embassy, who was took over by the Ayatollah Khomeini's fanatics. Anyway, only the west europeans powers, like France, can sell their souls for the iranian oil.
Walt K ,   Sherbrooke, Canada   (11.26.12)
5. Tayfun - you believe Erdogan don't you?
1. You stated that 'nobody in the world care if Iran had nuke and wiped Israel off the map or not.' I guess this is what you think about Armenians and Kurds For you Jews, Armenians Kurds Alevis Bektashis are all expandable I guess. But in the civilized world all human are precious regardless their race, beliefs and diversity. 2. The polls are conducted by independent organizations that take a sampling from all over the country Considering that there are 10 times more Muslims in The USA and Canada the possibility that more Muslims then Jews responded to the poll is much higher.
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (11.26.12)
6. To #1. Yes, who cares?
Why should Iranians care about some stupid poll from North America? I wonder what the poll result will be if the question asked is "would you support another war for Israel in Middle East? (more American soldiers and trillions of dollars sacrified)?
Siedjan ,   Indonesia   (11.26.12)
7. A survey taken by the Jews for the Jews in NO WAY...
reflects the true feelings of Americans nor Canadians. These kind of "surveys" are only meant to make some right wingers "happy". That's all.
Persian CAT   (11.26.12)
8. Siedjan from Indonesia
Americans never fought any wars wars any place for Israel. We (Americans) always fought our own wars for our own interests. I admit that sometimes (such as second Iraq war) we might have been wrong. For example we fought the Afghan war because Taleban was supporting Al Kaida who attacked USA soil. Has nothing to do with Israel. On the other hand when it was the right thing to do American soldiers did fight to protect the Muslim minority in Bosnia. Many American Christians lost their lives to protect Muslims in that war including the US Secretariat of commerce Brown. I am not even mentioning the dollars spent in the Bosnia war protect the Muslim population against the Christians.

9. To: No. 6
1. The Iranians should care. I can assure you that what transpires in Ottawa and in Washington D.C. are significantly more important than what transpires in Jakarta. 2. Polls in both the United States and Canada show overwhelming support for the State of Israel and little or no sympathy for Islamic state supporters of terror. This, too, is of far greater significance to Iran than what 200 million plus Sunni Moslems in Indonesia may think. 3. You've been spending way too much time listening to your imams spewing their filth and their lies. Not a single American soldier has ever lost his life in the defense and/or protection of the State of Israel. A great many Americans have, however, lost their lives coming to the defense, support and aid of Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Emirates, Waziristan, Lebanon and Libya. 4. You are woefully ignorant. Of course, coming from a primitive Moslem backwater such as Indonesia, that is to be expected. Just don't turn to the West for aid and assistance the next time Krakatoa blows its top or a tsunami carries away tens of thousands of Indonesians. Go straight to Iran -- I'm sure they'd like nothing better than to support their fellow Moslems.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.26.12)
10. To #5 No, none of them true
First All I believe Erdogan is working for Zionist Israeli interests despite his showy speech in Press. His speeches are for local muslim votes. Erdogan is taking part in zionist policies of Arab spring preparing near strike at Iran. As for Kurds they are our brother, we do not discriminate, they can be prime minister, Head of the State, and they in fact take charge of those highest positions in Turkey. As for Armenians, Armenians are first victims of Israel. Israel was born decades ago before Israeli state established. Forced migration of Armenians to Lebanon was to pave the way for later Israeli occupation. They were forced to migrate to Lebanon and around to balance muslim population there and ease Israeli occupation. As for Alevis, despite I am sunni muslim I support Alevi Assad against rebel fighters! You are wrong in all accounts.
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (11.26.12)
11. Tayfun you cannot cover the sun with mud
1. When the Armenians were forced to exile in 1915 and 1915 there was no Jewish state (Israel was founded in 1947). The exile was forced by Talat Pasha because Armenian Tashnak's were being armed against the Ottoman rule by Russians and French. 2. In fact in 1941 when the Varlik vergisi tax was applied, Jews and Armenians were the victims f it together. 3. Kurds are oppressed in Turkey. Only recently many Kurts in jail were in a hunger strike as well as Leyla Zana (Kurdish political leader). 4. As for Alevi and Bektashi's I will remoind you the Madimak hotel fire that was started by Sunni mobs screaming TEKBIR. Many Alevi's burned to a terrible death. Aziz Nesin (Alevi Satirist) survived the fire. The Sunni attackers, their leaders evaded justice until statute of limitation kicked in, and the others that were tried were represented by non other then thei rlawyer Bulent Yoldirim the founder and leader of IHH (Remember Mavi Marmara?) Tayfun: as they say in Turkish 'you cannot cover the sun with mud' . But if you really believe in the fantasies that you posted then I recommend that you check into the hospital that Mazhar Osman founded in Bakirkoy neighborhood in Istanbul.
