David ,   Haifa, ISR   (11.28.12)
The man stinks of corruption but as was expected he gets away with it. Seems corruption is also his best friend.
3. A major crook off the hook?
Avi ,   Israel   (11.28.12)
4. Unbelievable!
shawn ,   Los Angeles, USA   (11.28.12)
Its truly a shame that this thug is able to still hold office in Israel. He is corrupting the core of Israeli government. To be completely frank, most of the Russian immigrants to this country have tainted so much about what used to be an amazing country with important judaic values (it still is, but crime, drugs, prostitution, respect for rule of law etc. have all shot up tremendously since the mass Russian immigration).
5. Weinstein
Joe Wein ,   Canada   (11.28.12)
Weinstein is in my opinion nothing more than is agent for Obama conviently making leagal opinions based on what Obama orders Weinstein to do. That the real curruption not Lieberman
6. After Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu united, this is a surprise?
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (11.28.12)
The press seem to be far far behind, what is obvious to the public!
7. LIEberman of [sic] the hook? More like of mosserim
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls, MN   (11.28.12)
Heaven forbid that he should shed the yolk of accountability and get on with implementing the basic plank in his party's political platform of destroying Jewish lives and ceding it to those that come to kill them with his partner BB who has a time honored tradition of destroying Jewish lives in the first land of the first Jew (Chevron), the first city of creation (Yericho) and voting over and over and over and over and over again in Azza, Yehuda and Shomron instead of expelling the threat, enforcing the right of return of the genocidal, mass-murdering extortionists back to the homicidal, Hamite peninsular homeland of their own name.
8. # 4
Philip ,   Afula, Israel   (11.28.12)
Dont bash the Russians, Israel has gained a great deal from their many contributions to our society. We would be far weaker without them.
9. In today's safety situation, I prefer him in parlament!
Jew1 ,   Ashdod   (11.28.12)
Yes, because all others (except BB) will sell us to Arabs to fulfil their dreams. I prefer Libarman in parlament rather than all those jockers. I am happy that he is off the hook.
10. Probably the smartest guy in the Knesset
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (11.28.12)
It's a total disgrace that charges have been held over his head for 14 years! 14 years means that there was NEVER enough evidence to convict him. But there was a lot of political will to keep him enchained. Guttman, who served in the National Fraud Unit for 21 years said the image of Lieberman portrayed in the press was very different from the man he had encountered in person. "The man is, in my opinion, the fastest-thinking suspect politician the police have had to face. He will come prepared". "Lieberman does not hide behind his right to remain silent. He won't confess, either. He will give full answers and send police abroad looking for evidence," Guttman said. "He does not stutter, and he is not like Olmert, saying he doesn't remember this or that. He has all the facts in his head, and he does not refer to documents when answering questions".
11. No surprise, and nobody cares
Ephraim ,   Jerusalem   (11.28.12)
The whole system here is corrupt, this is par for the course. The whole coalition system is just legal bribery anyway. Vote with me, and get what you want, regardless if it is good or bad for the country. They all lie and steal, so better to have a thief and a liar who actually cares about the country. If he makes a few bucks along the way, I don't care at this point. If and when we defeat our enemies and have real security, and if and when we change this stupid coalition system to a true representative democracy, then I'll worry about crap like this. For now, this isn't news, and nobody is going to spend any time thinking or worrying about some deal made by Lieberman.
12. He will probably be cleared
bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (11.28.12)
and, be the next PM. I wouldn't want to be a pal under his authority. Maybe it's time for all pals to leave Israel and leave their lies of ownership behind as well? BUILD BABY BUILD!!!
13. #2 say what?
(11.28.12)
Lieberman has been under investigation for 14 years. Until now, after spending millions, the AG and police haven't found any evidence of wrong doing, none whatsoever. Just before the last elections, the police announced they were arresting his daughter. Of course, nothing came from this arrest. In contrast, there was clear evidence that Ehud Barak committed election funding fraud to the tune of millions. After one session when Barak refused to cooperate, the police closed the investigation. But I have a question. About a month ago, Reshet B said that Ehud Barak was the third richest MK after Neeman (successful lawyer) and Shalom (married well). Can you tell me how Barak got that rich?
14. A thought about Lieberman and the press
bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (11.28.12)
If the liberal press is so against him, perhaps he is the most qualified to represent JEWS in Israel after all?
15. Is there an MK our AG has not or is not investigating?
Jrebecca ,   modiin   (11.28.12)
Maybe Tibi and Zoabi.
16. #11 - I care because he had the case hanging
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (11.28.12)
over his head for 14 years, which is a total disgrace! And please never say "who cares". It's an expression mostly used by teens who are thinking only of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. And you do care ;-)
