Maybe my math is wrong but Gaza was given to Palestine..but the terrorists took it..now the palestinians want another land mass for a state..that would make it a two state country with Israel a third.
2. Great news...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.30.12)
I'm delighted with the U.N. This is positive news and a definate positive step towards lasting peace and a 2 state solution. This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
3. @ Jack #1
Mike S. ,   Phoenix, USA   (11.30.12)
Good point. Your math is correct. But what if a reconciliation happened between the Palestinians themselves?
4. CONGRATULATIONS!
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (11.30.12)
Extremists, hardliners, messianists and other nutjobs in Israel will have to realize that a two-state solution (and I do NOT mean that "Jordan is Palestine bulls!@#") is the only long-term answer. Hopefully that realization will come before the world forces a one-state solution on us somewhere down the line, which would effectively be the end of the State of Israel as the Jewish homeland. So, this Jew and Zionists says to the Palestinians: Hearty and warm congratulation on this decision, and may it be a first step toward the construction of your state, which you will ultimately attain.
5. 9 Votes Against Legitimizing Jihad
emanon ,   USA   (11.30.12)
What was the rest of the world thinking? Only Israel plus these eight brave nations voted against legitimizing global jihad: United States, Canada, the Czech Republic, Panama, Micronesia, Palau, Nauru and the Marshall Islands. The rest of the world agrees: terrorism pays off.
6. EVICTION NOTICE - TO ILLEGAL INFILTRATROS
Lynx ,   Palestine   (11.30.12)
You are in violation of the 4th Geneva Convention and are now residing in the State of Palestine - illegally. Pressure should be mounted on your government to resolve your status either as citizens of Palestine - or multiateral disengagement from the occupied State of Palestine. You have been warned about the consequences of illegal residence in the State of Palestine.
7. Hitler, Gobbels and Himmler are happy
Ari ,   Argentina   (11.30.12)
and celebrating too.
8. I still don't know where "Palestine" is
A ,   Belgium   (11.30.12)
Isn't a country supposed to have borders? A government? A capital city? A source of income, besides handouts? Exports, besides terrorism? I don't understand what the United Nothings General Assembly just voted for, or why the "palestinians" are celebrating their STILL non existant state. Can someone please explain?
9. #1 homework
observer ,   Egypt   (11.30.12)
Gaza and WB will be continuous land, they will build two safe paths at south and north. UN planned the partition of NATIVE PALESTINE to take off guest colonies for Jews. dude!, if you have lost math, you should strengthen yourself in history and geog.
10. #2 is a fake.
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (11.30.12)
Sarah B. would never write what this impostor did... and would be unlikely to quote Winston Churchill when he was speaking of the Allied invasion of North Africa with El Alamein in the east and the "Torch" landings in French Morocco and Algeria.
11. #9 But you Arabs rejected the Partition Plan
Jake   (11.30.12)
And so the UN Security Council, which didn't want to upset you, did not adopt the partition plan. Instead it passed Res. 44, instructing the General Assembly to go back and reconsider the Question of Palestine. They appointed a mediator, but even his flagrantly pro-Arab proposals were rejected by the Arabs, and so nothing came out of them. Now you want to book a luxury cabin on a ship that sailed 65 years ago. I don't think so.
