Palestine cannot possibly have Jerusalem as it's capital as this is the capital of Israel and has been since King David's time. The world does not get to tell Israel what it's capital city is.

Abbas cannot guarantee his own survival, cannot guarantee to control Gaza, never mind guaranteeing recognition by 54 Arab/Muslim states. Interestingly, till June 1967, Jordan occupied the West Bank and the eastern part of Jerusalem, the Palestinian were content to live under the Jordanian occupation and did not demand independence. Therefore, the real solution is to create the Palestinian entity within the the framework of Jordanian kingdom and the borders should be negotiated between Israel and Jordan.
