One of the reasons for the massive over repprtage of the Gaza conflict compared to, say, the brutality of the Syrian regime or, the ethnic cleansing of Christian Coptics in Egypt is the freedom allowed to the press in Israel compared to the rest of the Middle East. Hamas et at fired thousands of missiles into Israel, allowed missiles to be fired from heavily populated areas and Palestinians died as a consequence.. It is an abomination that Israel has no International 24/7 television service via satellites in English at least, although it would be only great to have it in other main languages, Russian included.
