is that in 1947 there was the partition of Palestine creating 2 nations: one for the jews and the other for the palestinians. I understand that this nations was Jordan.. what happened with it? That the British imposed a king from the Hashemite family it doenst mean that the land on the east side of the Jordan River was not supposed to be Palestine. So.. Mr. Friendman and all others who are looking for a palestinian state I have great news for you (and for Abbas, et company) Palestines is already there.. you just have to change the name... today we call it Jordan, but tomorrow we could call it Palestine if you will. For many, many Jews the West Bank is an important part of the Jewish biblical homeland. While most Jews would sacrifice part of the Jewish homeland for peace the Palestinians reject peace with a Jewish Israel. The West would have Israel grovel to the Palestinians in the hope they would make peace but that has never worked. So, Jews are not going to wait around forever for Palestinians to change their minds. The West needs to confront the Palestinians about accepting a Jewish Israel rather than uselessly criticizing Israel.

An alliance is a two-way street and the US is under no obligation to blindly support everything you do.
