As a teacher, what that student did was totally wrong. Parents need to discipline their children. I am shocked that Israel is having the same problems in their schools as Europe and the USA. Reform schools work.
2. Teacher sues ex-student for striptease prank
Rina ,   Haifa, Israel   (12.05.12)
If student was rubbing on her it was not a prank. It was 100% a sexual harassment. Israel is a strange country. When some Knesset member kissed the female soldier in the chick, it's called the "sexual harassment". But when student sexually abused his teacher, it's called prank. Teacher was trapped in the class not just by stripper, but by his friends, he followed her and rubbed on her. She could be raped in front of the class. What they did is criminal and they should pay for it. If not in jail, than with their own money. Teacher have right to the money she asks. She have disability, which she got in work place. No teacher or any other public servant should be exposed on the work place to that kind of humiliation. There should be a law against this kind of behaviour.
3. Israel's public schools at their best with such moral

teachers and students. This student must have gotten his "education"from the teacher who had another job working at the sex club.
4. This teacher had some kind of baggage
susan ,   Raanana, Israel   (12.05.12)
Was this prank appropriate? No. Should the student have been expelled from school? Yes. But if this incident so traumatized this teacher that she had to quit teaching or fell into a depression, warning bells go off in my opinion. Either she is genuine and has some sort of underlying psychological condition (history of sexual abuse etc) or she is trying to take advantage of the whole thing to make some money out of it. Susan
5. Great story
Gil ,   London   (12.05.12)
It really made me laugh. What a silly and unnecessary over dramatic reaction by the teacher. At the heart of it is her attraction to the stripping student. Awesome!
6. many Israeli kids are, like that one
Eli ,   Raanana   (12.05.12)
As a former teacher in Israel, I can only say to the teacher: 'go for it! Squeeze the last penny out of them'. Parents should understand that they can improve their kids' behavior. Unfortunately, many of them do not care, while the teachers pay a very high price.
7. OH DEAR I HAVE BEEN EMOTIONALLY SCARRED FOR LIFE
Zionist forever   (12.05.12)
Even a Haredi wouldn't claim to be emotionally scarred for life over this. Light hearted prank or not we are supposed to believe a grown woman has been emotionally scarred for life over this. Embarrassment yes but that will go away eventually Emotional scaring no, dollar sign flashing before her eyes yes.
8. And they still call this the Holy Land? LMAO

9. Sounds like the parents' accusation is correct.
Mike ,   Tel Aviv   (12.05.12)
10. Sure, she may have been traumatized for life!!!
EST ,   Miami USA   (12.05.12)
It is obvious that many of those who posted an opinion here did not realize that a "mob mentality" can be extremely scary and cause trauma. It is not the prank itself but the context...when students were cheering the culprit and blocking access to escape. In those circumstances, anyone would be traumatized...you have no control and the whole mob is "out to get you"...you have no idea what else they have in store for you. She may have though they were going to rape her. The teacher initially sought emotional counseling and help...this is no ploy for early retirement. She should be allowed to sue all those involved and all those who placed obstacles in the pursuit of justice in this case.
11. No one is "scarred for life" by a dance
William ,   Israel   (12.05.12)
unless that person has a great deal of emotional and mental issues already. Clearly this is the case here and the teacher deserves nothing more than the phone number for a good psychologist.
12. Give me a break...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A./Israel   (12.06.12)
Nothing wrong with a little fun. This teacher should get a life...

14. "the teacher is exploiting their son's prank"
