Not sure to understand : has this visit received the approval from Israel? If not, how can he enter Gaza, since all movements of goods and persons in and out of Gaza are controlled by Israel?
7. foolish talkbackers
Dave from Brazil ,   Sao Paulo   (12.07.12)
Killing that man would probably be by far the stupidest act by Israel. Of course, Israeli authorities know this and will let him visit Gaza in peace.

you are funny. Open your eyes and watch Muslims killing others everyday in many nations. Does that bother you, or it only bothers you when Jews fight back ?
11. Khaled Mashaal
Anshel ,   Canada   (12.07.12)
Don't bet the farm on your fourth birth, You are going to wait another 45 years to come back to Gaza, if you live that long. Jerusalem, no chance with your attitude, dude.
12. Lovely photo of Mashaal kissing the ground
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (12.07.12)
Looking at that photo,I cannot help but think that it would have been a good moment for the IAF to give HIM a kiss. You know with what and you know where. It's sitting to see the way that Maashal,Haniyeh and even he Fatah cronies are suddenly kissing each other and pretending to love each other when the really hate and detest each other. There's no end to their cynicism and hypocrisy THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!.

Esteban ,   Argentina Swiss   (12.07.12)
And kill him now
16. Visit to Gaza
Steve a ,   manchester England   (12.07.12)
So the Palestinians are going to take over Haifa etc. And the Tamils are going to have their own state in Sri lanka. And the Basques will become independent. And the Kurds will have their own state. One simple question for Hamas . The Arabs have been fighting the Jews since 1921 and their situation has never improved. So how will it get better now ?

20. The analysis of the Gloria Center seem
Ypip ,   Canada   (12.07.12)
to be playing out like the book. The Gaza leadership made gains at the expense of the external leadership due to the fallout happening in both Egypt and Syria, and somewhat Iran. So Mashaal is back in Haniya's Gazan fortress...kissing his ass. "There is no indication that the Gaza leadership’s experience of power and administration in the Gaza Strip is leading it toward moderation or pragmatism." Hamas isn't going to far due to several events against them.
21. Pity the ground
Silkey ,   Silkeborg,Denmark   (12.07.12)
didn't open up and swallow him and grant him martyrdom . By the by, if he originally comes from the West Bank, hence, Jordan, why is he kissing Gaza(Egypt)? All the years in exile have confused the "poor" man.
22. Now is a good time to get rid of him with Haniya
Abu Yousuf el Dugri ,   ME   (12.07.12)
23. The EU will anoint him king
steve from raleigh   (12.07.12)
You DO realize that, yes? The EU will declare him the sole leader of all Palestinians. There will of course be no discussion let alone elections.
24. Welcome Home, Mr. Mashaal
Nu'man ,   Exeter, UK   (12.07.12)
The man had to wait nearly half a century to set foot in his homeland again. Yet a vile settler from Brooklyn or Moldova with no attachment to Palestine (other than a bogus certificate from the great - realtor-in-the-sky) is able to come and go as he/she pleases. Thoughts and prayers to all the other Palestinian refugees who dream of returning home.
25. Randy #8
Kyle Broflovski ,   South Park, USA   (12.07.12)
Violence is the only language Muslims understand. Any form of peace making or compromise is just seen as weakness to be exploited further.

(12.07.12)
so called palestine.
27. Mashaal was saved by Clinton, not by Allah
Jake   (12.07.12)
"On September 25 of that same year two Mossad operatives approached the Hamas leader outside his office in Amman, Jordan and injected lethal poison into his ear. Mashaal's driver and bodyguard apprehended the Mossad agents, who were placed under arrest. Immediately after the incident, Jordanian King Hussein demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu turn over the antidote for the poison. At first Netanyahu refused, but as the incident grew in political significance, US President Bill Clinton intervened and urged Netanyahu to turn over the antidote. Then-Mossad chief Danny Yatom flew to Jordan, bringing with him an antidote to treat Mashaal."
28. #8 Randy, so you disapprove of the killing of Bin Laden
Jake   (12.07.12)
Either that, or you subscribe to the policy of "do as I say, not as I do".
