Khaled Mashal is on the list to meet his virgins. Lets hope to be able to talk to his vice.

3. Peace stems from total victory as WW II proves.
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.09.12)
The idea of achieving peace through negotiations with "Palestinian" poseurs has always been ludicrous. Palestine is a fictional entity intended to justify the destruction of Israel. The true path to peace is total victory over the "Palestinian" poseurs. Just as the WW II Allies created permanent peace in Europe and Asia by totally defeating the Nazis. We must resoundingly defeat "Palestinians" and get them out of our land forever.
4. Where are those stupid Europeans
Shalom ,   Ashdod, IL   (12.09.12)
who were quick to condemn Israel for the new settlement and called it an obstacle to peace. Here, Mashaal is telling the world that they want to destroy Israel completely and their silence is deafening. By the way, why isn't Meshaal staying in Gaza instead of traveling from country to another and living off the fat of the land? Could he scared of an Israel missile like Nasserallah who is still hiding like a rat.
5. Article very well written - Hamas signing own death warrant
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (12.09.12)
6. 2 States (Fatah/Hamas and Israel -Jewish)
Noah Lev ,   LosAnelesUSA   (12.09.12)
Israel, with all its intelligence still doesnt know how to navigate the hostile waters. It attempted first to brand Hamas as bad,and Fatah as good (giving it arms). Then Abbas tried to reconcile with Hamas, a futile fantasy. Now, Hamas still has as its goal, Israel's demise., while Fatah is more amenable to 2 states at the 67 borders, with right of return.Either way,Israel is cooked. Israel makes things difficult. Simply say that any agreement will include both, ( unified ), allowing for the compromise. If Hamas doesnt agree, hold talks open, but no signing until Hamas acquiesces, 2 states, one Jewish, other other Palestinian, respecting minorities. There can be a thruway, freeway, or tunnel between the Strip and Jericho. Borders can be adjusted for Israel's and the Palestinian security. (E1). Palestine can and must be demilitarized...no heavy weapns. and the return of refugees limited to it. A Judenreiun Palestinian does not show peace intentions,so what if land is purchased by Jews, and land is purchased in Israel by Arabs? The world can compensate both refugees per the 100m per month to the PA annoiunced today. . What is the alterntive, in the volitile M.E, another Syria, Egypt, Libya, Somalia, Sudan? The onus ison the Palestinians,They lost everywar...have terrorism in their hearts, and have failed every peace attempt by Israel and voided every agreement. (going to the UN)
7. Peace is feasible
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (12.09.12)
Peace would be feasible if the Zionist regime would return to the original plan of Nov. 29, 1947 and allow former Mandatory Palestine to become a UN Trusteeship, pending the final establishment of the Holy Land as a combined Muslim-Christian state. It would be understood that those who are not Muslim or Christian would not be allowed residence in Palestine (except some on diplomatic business, perhaps). If such are allowed a brief visit, they would be required to leave financial bond to ensure their prompt departure after a set time. This is the only key to peace without bloodshed. No other alternative would work.
8. Read this: learn from history, negotiate with Mashaal
Daniel ,   tel Aviv   (12.09.12)
in the 1970s, Israel could have reached a peace deal with King Hussain (probably the most moderate arab leader of his generation and those who followed) by giving back the west bank to a leader who was committed to peace, instead; it refused and built settlements. By wasting that chance, later in the 1990s, it had to deal with Arafat, its (then) worse enemy. In the not too distant future,it will have to deal with Hamas; why? because in this world , u deal with realities on the ground not with wishful thinking. So better cut our losses and deal with Mashaal now, he is not the worst of the Hamas leaders and with some pressure from Egypt and the gulf states, some sort of a deal can be reached. If we do not deal with Hamas now, it will be Al Qaeda or Islamic Jihad later. Those who dont learn from history are condemned to repeat it The wise Jew, Danny of North Tel Aviv
9. # 4...Would killing Mashaal solve your problems...
Edithann ,   USA   (12.09.12)
You've been doing this assassination stuff for centuries and your whine is centuries old...Mashaal isn't your enemy nor are the Palestinians until you cooked up your Zionost land theft......You are your own worst enemies...history has proven that...time and time again... Jews are the only ones who have never learned from their history...it's because you're made to 'dwell alone' to kvetch, whine and look under your beds for enemies...as the world itself is antisemitc... TATA TATA
10. Actually im optimistic about the speech
Jake ,   USA   (12.09.12)
Im optimistic about the world realizing that the Arab Palestinians have absolutely no interest in true peace. With such an enemy the status quo (PA autonomy) is the only solution. Demanding that Israel cede more territory to these savages is insane.
11. Demographic SecurityMoree
zivron   (12.09.12)
A Palestinian state of more than five million will outnumber the Jews at present 1.2 million Palestinians in Israel 1.5 million Gaza Arabs 2.5million.Judea and Samaria leavingless than a million even to a Palestinian state .So what is the fix.
12. Demographic and Security Compensations
zivron   (12.09.12)
Only by massive security and demographic compensations can utopian peace evolve.
13. Assassination stuff...
Jerry ,   Sweden   (12.09.12)
Edithann (USA), Would killing of Jews solve your problems... JEWS isn't your enemy! You are the worst enemy that Jews have.
14. Peace when Jews give the Palestinians their houses back

15. HAMASS
yakov ,   miami,jerusalem   (12.09.12)
"YOU MAKE PEACE WITH YOUR ENEMIES" this is a quote from arafart that has fooled countless ass kissing arab appeasers. wishful thinking leads to the grave. me

Jacques VITENBERG ,   France   (12.09.12)
So danny, a leftist" bobo" [bourgeois-boheme) from north Tel-Aviv,( we understood..) does not speak as people in Sederot.. A lot of the inhabitants of Sederot have parents or grandparents who came fronm Algeria, and they know what means "la valise ou le cerceuil" "suitcase or coffin" So Danny who lives in north Tel-Aviv ( why you don't say "Tel-Aviv") and he is wise, tells us "Machaal is a good guy" Sure! He wants Tell-Aviv, not the North! Don't smile! please! Danny lives in north tell-Aviv!, not in south! and he says "Machaal is a good guy" Sure! He tells the truth: "Palestine from the sea until the river" Go and discuss with him!
17. hamas
spookey ,   bimingham uk   (12.09.12)
this man is a natural born killer , he as shown hamas in its true colors to kill and murder will the world not see you can not deal with these savages because thats what they are ,
18. Optimism? Madness to consider it, sheer madness.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (12.10.12)
19. #3 - Chaim, How many millions of Israelis would die
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (12.10.12)
in the war for "total victory" you demand? Have you ever thought that if Israel tries "total War" that MILLIONS of Muslims, many battle hardened, woudl stream in to Gaza and the West Bank. Under your "total war" plan, how many Israelis will simply flee instead of fighting? I suspect that once the war gets hot enough, Israel will have less than 3 million fighters and the Muslims will have many times more. It is hard to win a war when you are outnumbered and the opponent has all the same technology you have.
20. Peace is NOT made with enemies...
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (12.10.12)
It is made with FORMER enemies. That is why it is worth beating them if you fight with them at all. There is no substitute for victory. Unfortunately the world does not allow it so the cycle will continue.
21. #3, Chaim is right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (12.10.12)
22. #8 daniel - because in this world...
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.10.12)
u deal with realities on the ground not with wishful thinking. The wishful thinking is that Hamas will ever want peace. Read your own words, as they apply to you.
23. #7 graczek: Hahahahahaaaa! Thanks for a good joke!
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.10.12)
24. going beyond the circus
Zsolt ,   Wanganui,NZ   (12.11.12)
We keep getting caught up in the circus. The issue is not peace here but the "right to exist". Israel has "right to exist only as a single, united Nation that by positive example shows the broken, terminally ill world how to rise above differences and hatred in order to solve problems. In that case nobody would argue, doubt, everything else would fall in its place.
25. #19 spyguy
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.11.12)
You make some good points, however it should be remembered that Israel has fought its wars while being outnumbered and outgunned, and with inferior technology. Example: In the six day war they had Uzis, and old, upgraded, Pattons. Don’t let your wishful thinking ignore history.
26. #8 Danny. You are anything but wise.
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.11.12)
#8 Danny. Your "logic" justifies endless appeasement of Israel's genocidal enemies. Basically you say, "Negotiate with bloodthirsty terrorists or we'll have to negotiate with even more bloodthirsty terrorists in the future". Could anything be more ridiculous? Israel should not negotiate with ANY terrorists. Period. You call yourself "wise", but you are anything but that.
