First of all, this article reeks of racism. Calling someone an illness? London would only use that offensive term to attack the people he hates most: a Jew who immigrated from an FSR and succeeded. Racism aside, London can't argue with facts or Lieberman's logic. London can't avoid that the talented Lieberman was right and he were wrong. So he writes an article in the style of radical community organizer Alinsky: don't argue the facts, attack the person, make him a disease, mock him. As four your fourth paragraph Mr. London, we know exactly how you would have acted, and it is not to your credit.

Yes, who is it in government who thinks "all the world is against us?" The present govt., emphatically including Lieberman, has worked very hard to make Israel's case on the diplomatic front, meeting with foreign leaders constantly, and hardly assuming that they're "against us." Why set up straw men and deal in the simplistic categories put forth by Yaron London? If you actually listen to what Israeli conservatives are saying, you will see that they are not engaging in these gross simplifications. It is possible to have a realistic view of international relations and still make distinctions and appreciate nuances. London must portray his intellectual opponents as one-dimensional demons. Then he gets to feel righteous himself, and not have to exert any effort in actually thinking about anything.
