1. How come BG and EL AL security staff didn't find this in TLV
|
|
|
Because he is an Israeli. Of course, if he was a non-Jewish European tourist with box of dates or postcards bought in Hebron, he would spent several hours with BGA security.

To #2 As a fairly frequent visitor to Israel over the last 40 years, I must disagree. I have seen far more Israeli passport holders go through secondary screening than foreign arriving & leaving BG. The important point here is that it does everyone a disservice to not catch these breaches in security. Not the least to the Israeli citizen rotting away in an Indian prison.

7. #1, Where does the article say he flew with EL AL??
What's your answer if he flew with Air India??

8. Jake, there's no air India flights from Israel
The fact that he landed in Mumbai to catch a connection flight tells me he flew the El Al flight from TLV to Mumbai. I flew the same a couple of month ago and I'm a travel agent and I know a lot about flights

Are you implying that were he not a Jew that he would not have been apprehended?
Am surprised you didn't state it was part of a Mossad plot, or do you leave those comments to the Iranians?
