As things are we live in a Ghetto culture. The buik of the secular Jews liven the coast & central regions. The bulk of the orthodox are in cities like Jerusalem. The settlers live in Judea & Samaria because of an ideology. The arabs are all concentrated up north Since the days of Ben Gurion successive governments have told us of their dreams to Judaize these areas but non of them ever do anything about it. They still contribute towards settlements for the sake of coalitions but nobody wants serious investment in other parts of the country. Right now there is some effort being made to develop the south a little but thats about it. Nefesh B Nefesh are trying to encourage olim to move up north so why doesnt the government do the same because as we are all focussed in one particular part the country the land will be limited and so it will lead to high prices. Change the culture and you will bring down property prices nationwide.
