PARTITION Assad and his supporters rule one half the country and the anti Assad can rule the other half. Maybe one day the two countries will be united again but for the time being divide the country, in Sudan the divided the country when they had their civil war and now South Sudan is relatively stable. They all want a two state situation with Israel & the palestinians so why not a two state solution in Syria? The palestinian refugees from Syria can even decide if they want a right of return to Assad's Syria or the rebels Syria.
