So, to me, you're a Goy. Done. Now, go away.
32. No one is registered by observance
Ilan   (12.21.12)
Can they have Jewish stricken from their entries? If that is what they want I'm all for it

Steven ,   Tel Aviv   (12.21.12)
34. Opposite of religious is secular
noel.nesor@gmail.com ,   Israel   (12.21.12)
35. Okay, let 'em
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.21.12)
Of course, since being part of Am Israel is inextricably linked to Eretz Israel, let them find a new place to call home, too. They seem to have forgotten what has sustained the Jewish people in exile. If they discount it so deeply, they do not deserve to reap the benefits. Get rid of them.
36. No Jewish Burial ?. Bury at sea or Cremate
Roland Seener ,   London England   (12.21.12)
37. Jews can erase their religion but not ethnicity
Yaniv ,   Israel   (12.21.12)
Jews are an ethno-religious people. Erasing your status as a Jew makes as much sense as an Armenian becoming a native Indian.
38. Live and let live, and mind your own business
Ari ,   USA   (12.21.12)
All of you need to get lives. Pew Study Finds One in 6 Follows No Religion This makes the “unaffiliated,” as the study calls them, the third-largest group worldwide, with 16 percent of the global population — about equal to Catholics.
39. #37 Yaniv, You are ethnic Israeli, Jewish means religious.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.21.12)
The reason you are ethnic Israeli is because you have in you the Israeli culture: Hebrew language, songs, common habits, and your Israeli looks. Nothing to do with religion. Historically, even if irreligious, you can be a Jew if you also have in you Jewish Culture: Yiddish or Ladino, holocaust fears, religion-based sentiments. For the current age, you are Jewish only if you are religious, like a typical Italian to Catholicism or Japanese to Buddhism. Mishmash gadol.
40. Faith in Politicians
A.F ,   Ashdod   (12.21.12)
If you think rabbi's are selfish and make laws for their own interest then wait until the politicians get a hold of that power.I don't know about you but I see most rabbi's much less greedy and with more wisdom than the politicians or lawyers.
41. israel for jews, not irreligious
bunny olesen ,   Sweden   (12.21.12)
I think if they want to fight so hard to 'not be a jew' then they should not receive the benefits offered to people of jewish heritage worldwide, as a part of becoming the israeli nation. Also, I am very curious as to why they choose the word 'irreligious'. Non religious means what it says, don't believe or practice religion. However, irreligious can mean that, but also much much more. As in not just people who dont practice, but people who openly are against religion, hate religion, blasphemous, unholy, profane, etc. Just general meanings and wondering why they would choose irreligious over simple nonreligious, unless they wanted to make a more CLEAR statement of their contempt of religion. Or maybe they just think irreligious sounds 'fancier' in which case they are even more ridiculous.
42. Col hakavod. Since all religions are false additions, cool.
Josh   (12.21.12)
Can choose life now abandon false addition coercion? But why must following the ten commandments be a "religion" since it is not. Shows ignorance.
43. #40, Lawyers very greedy scum. In Israel also? Havla"z.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.21.12)
44. #35 Sarah B
Willy ,   Raanana   (12.22.12)
They did not say that they don't want to be Israeli or Jews, they just do not want to follow the Jewish religion and laws - that is: not observe Shabbat, eat non-kosher food, disregard Yom Kippour, etc....... You have many, many Jews in the diaspora and many Israelis here behaving just the same and live, work and die in Israel. You have a right to choose to be observant or not
