I have a good friend with an autistic child. I went to a high school in New York City called the Bronx High School of Science, and at least a third of my classmates had a form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome. Geniuses all, actually. I give a great deal of money to Autism Speaks. They have an international focus; it's worth a shot.

God bless the parents for speaking up for their autistic children who can't speak for themselves, and demanding public awareness to combat the pervasive ignorance and discrimination against people with autism.
