1. Disobedience bad for Syrians? Germans?
Thinking Jew ,   Israel   (12.23.12)
Overstatement is fine so long as it is aimed at one's adversary and not oneself.
2. no prob naftali
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls   (12.23.12)
Sure! leave those that come to kill you in your midst. Avigdor/evet LIEberman is all up in that too. Not to mention Landau, Arens, Ayalon, Yaalon,Aumann (Yisrael/Robert not Moshe), etc . You refuse to demand the threat being removed, yet say hey with full force remove the victims when ordered by politicians who disenfranchise the elctorate? Who needs you and others when the British did this in Hevron long before BB disenfranchised the electorate. When you make your next Torah, buy a vowel and find a way to expel the threat instead of the victims of those who should have their right of return enforced back to the homicidal, Hamite peninsular homeland of their own name.
3. Hey Bennett
(12.23.12)
I personally refuse to abide to the laws of the Israeli government since those laws are against my personal believes. Then is that alright for you if I won't obey the rules of your gov?
4. What is "right-wing" @ criticizing Bennett?
Steve Klein   (12.23.12)
Ariel Sharon wrote in his autobiography "Warrior" he regrets not disobeying egregious orders from his commanders (in the 1973 Yom Kippur war); orders he knew then would result in terrible casualties, and they did result in terrible, needless casualties because his commanders were not there on the ground. Sharon wrote, he wished he had disobeyed the orders and then suffer the consequences, even if it meant court marshal. What is so unique about Habayit Hayehudi, Naftali Bennett's position? No doubt he speaks for many who witnessed the forcible uprooting of thousands of peaceful, law-abiding Jews from Gush Katif, Gaza, August 2005. Many of these fine people are to this day languishing, abandoned (betrayed) by their own government. What is honorable about uprooting Jews from their homes and from our land? If Jewish outposts are illegal then make them legal. That is what the Americans when settling the North American continent. Americans are proud of their history. So should Israel be proud. Beyond that, there is the problem Prime Minister Netanyahu set in motion at his 2009 Bar Ilan speech when he bowed to Obama's demand that Israel accept there will be a Palestinian state in (pre-1967 Six Day War) Israel. The prime minister pulled the rug out from under every pro-Israel American who opposes this insanity. Governor Romney and his surrogate, Sen. Jim Talent, used PM Netanyahu's own words against Israel when they drafted the GOP's 2012 national party platform last August in Tampa. Romney fought pro-Israel conservatives using the prime minister's own words saying he supports the idea of a Palestinian state in Israel's heartland. Everyone with a functioning brain knows a Palestinian state will present a mortal threat to Israel's Jews.
5. Naftali
Big Momma ,   Tel Aviv, Israel.   (12.23.12)
Stop crying and man up yourself. You are a politician, not a cherry picker, you cant be both at the same time.
6. Bennet, you start this speaks!
Naomi Rikman ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.23.12)
I'm sorry to tell you but you start this speeds about orders to give Zahal to take people out from Yedea and Samaria? Why you now a cust prime minister? If this is some problem to understand you are to ask sorry!
7. Israeli politicians
Michael ,   Haifa   (12.23.12)
Bennett A says that a soldier need not carry out orders...Bennett B says that he never said that...Netanyahu A says that he will not sit in the same government with Bennett A, but if it will prove to be convenient, Netanyahu B will sit in the same coalition with Bennett B. And we, the electorate, are dumb enough to vote for these rogues, time after time after time. One should look at the candidates of all the parties, check out who has lied the least, and vote accordingly.

"Good" politicians are pragmatic politicians. Pragmatic politicians know they have to fudge the truth a little in order to be elected by a largely fickle voting public. Abraham Lincoln, for example, said things about Blacks, their place in society and about slavery he did not really believe because he knew Americans at the time would not vote for him if he were honest. Labor, Kadima and other parties on the left (even Likud to an extent) will lie the least because they know they will not be punished by the voters at the polls. If you vote Labor or Kadima and they obtain a majority, you can be pretty sure the resultant prime minister who forms a government will work closely with Barack Obama toward the dissolution of the Jewish state.
9. Bennet
abe4u ,   Israel   (12.23.12)
Good on you Bennet for saying what you personally believe. You said that you would find it hard to evict someone from their home - be it Jewish or ARAB !!! So whats the fuss about ? You did not call for disobeying legitimate orders by our soldiers, after all you yourself served in an elite squadron.
10. equal status
Dr.M Sphardi ,   Shimshon, Israel   (12.23.12)
If Arabs feel aggrieved at their losses in Palestine, aren't Jews from eleven Arab countries not justified in their own grief at expulsion and expropriation. It would seem that both groups deserve equal justice.
11. Naftali-Feiglin is bringing the Likud on a silver platter
Just Shut Up ,   tampa   (12.23.12)
Keep your mouth shut and all be be just fine.

Steve   (12.23.12)
Why do you think "all will be just fine" if Naftali-Feiglin say nothing? Leading up to the 2003 elections, former Ariel Sharon said, "We are going to have to make painful concessions" and "a Palestinian state is inevitable." Much as Prime Minister Netanyahu did in his June 2009 Univ. of Bar-Ilan speech and since. Sharon had accepted the Bush Road Map (as has PM Netanyahu) with reservations which the Bush administration did not recognize, nor does Obama. Both play hard ball with the Jews. The right in Israel voted Likud. Sharon formed a coalition and then set about forcibly uprooting thousands of Jews from Gush Katif and northern Samaira. The right in Israel cried out, "We were betrayed!" but they weren't betrayed. If Likud prevails in the upcoming election and forms another coalition without Bayit Yehudi and other land of Israel parties, and the prime minister cuts a deal with Obama, will the right in Israel cry out, "We were betrayed!" (?)
13. I support Naftali but he has to drop his Anglo name
Zinovy   (12.23.12)
I will vote for Habayit haYehudi
14. Bennett
Brod ,   USA   (12.24.12)
Bennett is a strong defender of Israel against enemies from within and without. To survive the unrelenting assaults of the dark forces, Israel must be united and strong. Strong leaders are needed.
