Working in a hotels as a bar tender or waiter or preparing rooms for guests are very good and important jobs the should get the respect they deserve. They are treated with a total lack of respect and army veterans are lured into doing them for a short time with no expectation that they will continue without going into managment. When traveling overseas I an waited on by older people who do their jobs with great professionalism, who began their jobs when they were young and will retire from those jobs after working in them as respected employees. It is time for them to organize as workers and end the backroom agreements made in their names by their employers and the Histadrut.
