CBS report: Israeli economy declining    Gad Lior
1. And Israelis still strongly believe Bibi is the messiah
Bibi and Bennett will only draw troubles to Israel with economical sanctions from Europe and probably from the US too; but if that's what israelis want so be it. After all once the sanctions will reach their wallets they might understand then that Israel is not free to do whatever she wants and that there are rules in this world
(12.26.12)
2. #1 what sanctions??
(12.26.12)
3. Well, the world is in an economic mess...
The US is recovering slowly. The EU is on the brink of financial disaster. These are Israel's two top trading partners. Israel has actually done remarkably well in resisting the global economic meltdown. So, the economic is slowing, but at least the shekel isn't on the brink of collapse.

4. Actually Vlad, if you were reading other medias than ynet
You'd knew that the euro is not on the brink of collapse anymore and got out of the danger zone...
(12.27.12)
5. No 1
I think you are confusing Israel with Iran you don't make any sense.

6. Could there be a connection to the approaching elections?Nae
Just like the Lieberman indictment this is pure coincidence.... Statistics NEVER lie!

7. Nonsense
How can a country whose GDP has been revised upward .8% this year and 1.0% next near (as a result of the energy sector) be in economic decline? Those two are mutually exclusive conclusions. You can't be in economic decline while expanding economic growth by an extra 1/4. Nice try. These are mostly seasonal declines.

8. what's the unemployment rate?
what is the unemployment rate for `olim?
