Guilty or not it is good to see a politician willing to face consequences in court and not play games in hiding behind immunity.

Lieberman in his post as FM would obviously suggest and recommend people. That was a part of his job. Whether he recommended because he believed the person was the best or because he wanted to repay somebody will never be proved either way. This accusation is going nowhere!

Exactly #2...I am confused by the continued attempt to destroy AL. When department heads cannot have any influence in who their subordinates are you end up with situations like the US did at the embassy in Lybia. This whole affair makes no sense.

So you claim to know all the politial opinions of all judges in the high court. Please back this up with evidence including names. Thats strange as i know a large number of judges don a kippah, so there goes that theory. Then people who are of a left wing opinion can say they cant get a fair trial as the judge is religious and right -wing.
