1. Guilty or not it is good to see a politician willing to face
Guilty or not it is good to see a politician willing to face consequences in court and not play games in hiding behind immunity.
Tel Aviv & NY
2. What is the problem ?
A baker bakes bread, a shoemaker make shoes, a foreign minister appoints ambassadors.
3. Of course Lieberman would suggest peopel
Lieberman in his post as FM would obviously suggest and recommend people.
That was a part of his job.
Whether he recommended because he believed the person was the best or because he wanted to repay somebody will never be proved either way.
This accusation is going nowhere!

4. #2 exactly
Exactly #2...I am confused by the continued attempt to destroy AL. When department heads cannot have any influence in who their subordinates are you end up with situations like the US did at the embassy in Lybia. This whole affair makes no sense.
5. #2 and #4: Apparently the appointment has to be approved but
"someone" just went ahead and did it!
He should have taken the plea with the "Dishonor". Now he has run the risk of opening a can of worms.
Just remember the Danny Ayalon was not included in the Likud-Beiteinu deal. Maybe what goes around comes around?
Maybe the Israeli voters on both the left and the right are getting sick and tired of fiddles, deals, convicted criminals and and pending prosecutions. Surely the people that are going to run this country should at least be "clean"?

6. Judges in the High Court should also be indicted
for appointing their own guys as judges just because they're of the same left opinions.
7. Hmmm interesting 2 C who would get the LOW chair 2 court
between those 2 .........

If you can't detect the nasty stench of left wing politics i this matter, you are either brain dead or one of them. Which is it?
This whole thing is a witch hunt to try and destroy the right and weaken them or keep them out of power. It doesn't matter that the people want the right, or that Israel would be destroyed under the left wing camp. All that matters is their political life and their wallets.
The fact that Danny Ayalon was not included in the Likud/Beiteinu ticket and is now a prize witness of the prosecution stinks to high heaven. It is not "what goes around comes around" but more like "because I was not allowed on the ticket, I will stab you in the back!"
9. to 8
Yours was the first post on the subject of Avigdor Lieberamn, that was worth reading... You are absolutely right, DavidR..
The left in Israel, has gone completely & radically suicidal..They forget history and refuse to face the fact, that we are surrounded by mortal enemies... And at this time, only Lieberman, with his coalition, could be trusted with our State's and Nation's safety...
10. ayalon not included
So you seriously believe that Danny A was excluded from the LB ticket just for the heck of it...do you not think he might have been excluded because it was known he was already colluding with the ones attempting to destroy Lieberman and anyone right of the left wing centrism? It wasn't "what goes around comes around" as you say it was more like a practical move to rid the dept of a turn coat.
11. #6 Dear Dovykins
So you claim to know all the politial opinions of all judges in the high court. Please back this up with evidence including names. Thats strange as i know a large number of judges don a kippah, so there goes that theory. Instead of whining and whinging and attacking anyone who dosent agree with your right-wing agenda why dont you study to be a lawyer and go out there and make a difference? Then people who are of a left wing opinion can say they cant get a fair trial as the judge is religious and right -wing. Gee Doveykins back to square one or in your case kindergarden providing you pass the entrance exam.
