Where is the difference between soldiers refusing orders because of their conscience the leftists who dodge the draft because of their conscience? What happens if we go to war and a pilot refuses to drop a bomb on a building full of terrorists but one of those terrorists brought his children with them so this pilot decides he can't destroy a building if there are children in it so he doesn't drop his bomb? Do we say forgive and forget to that pilot because he followed his other orders or do we say he broke that one so he will be punished? When we start allowing soldiers to pick orders we lose wars and people will lose respect for the IDF because the majority do not think as Bennet does. If these clashes continue or we do start getting soldiers refusing orders its going to be Livni or Shely as the next PM and I doubt them will protect the precious settlements.

When they were destroying Gush Katif some residents dug in prepared for a fight but rabbis told them not to fight soldiers so it was a relatively peaceful evacuation even if it did upset alot of soldiers and residents. Rabbi's are now fighting soldiers trying to evacuate the settlements so they can be demolished conveniently just days after Bennet's stupid remark. The people who live in remote outposts were not obsessed with building for the sake of building and they would do the smart thing thing by living in reasonably sized places make them into the next Maaleh Adumim which is to big for any government to destroy ( tactical building no idealism).
