This is a blatant misuse of power and self interests. A different body should be responsible for it. Unanimously they approved to raise their own pay. What a complete shock.

It sickens me at the way they waste and give themselves high salaries and raises while the middle class struggles to finish the month. They have no morals and are a Me society. Disgraceful.

The US congress receive lifetime salaries and health benefits, no matter their tenure in "The House." They can't even come up with a balanced budget. Our world is upside down and backwards. Hopefully, people will wake up and right the wrong? That is my wish for 2013.
