ask the Russians ... millions of dead Russian Christians thanks to the very un-Russian communist elite who tried to destroy Christianity in the Soviet Union. Since the fall of communism the Russian people are flocking back to their national religion and rebuilding the churches. That's because it was always a small elite who hated Christianity...not the ordinary Russians themselves. Just like the USA where the people are Christians but they are ruled by an elite which is hostile to Christianity and wants to destroy it. And that is America today. A nasty failed state.

The real source of decreasing Christian populations throughout the middle and far East, and Africa, are the Israeli checkpoints in the West Bank!

Islam is going to be the religion calling the shots in the future. And I can say this because I was born Christian. As long as the Christians accept sharia law as the way, and do not pray in public or show any sort of criticism towards Islam, they will have nothing to worry about. As long as they admit Islam is the correct religion, I see no problem with allowing Christians to think as they want.

The Christian West is pushing Israel to hand over East Jerusalem and the West Bank to the PA, knowing that Christians are mistreated by both Hamas and Fatah. In the PA as in other Islamic states a Muslim can be executed for converting to Christianity.

They were persecuted from the get-go, and some strains persecuted others. The New Testament states they will be persecuted for JUST being called a follower of Jeshua. One thing is for certain though; In the US, Christians support Israel 110%. They believe there will be a final battle, which takes place in Meggido, Israel, and it will be fought by the returning Messiah to conquer evil for good. Some believe it will be fought against Islam, the Anti-Christ, Russia, China, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon. With today's events happening in the ME, that isn't too hard to believe.

Based on recent past and current behaviour towards Christians in the Middle East, north and central Africa the numbers of Christians in those lands will continue decreasing, whilst their numbers in Israel will continue rising. The article only scratches the surface regarding the plight of Christians in Moslem countries and the precarious future they face.
