There is another million refugees with no homes to return to so they make the economic problem worse. For Israel a failed Syria will be a gift The military which was due fore modernisation is a shambles, there will be no money for new hardware and the stuff they have is being destroyed by rebels. Its als not going to do Hezbollah any favours. One way or another the WMDS will be destroyed, if a post Assad regime refuses to allow experts to come and dismantle them peacefully the US will do it by bombing the weapons sites.If Israel sees Scud launch vehicles heading in its direction it will send in the jets destroy it before launch.
