1. If the left thinks any Oslo agreement with the pyschos who
hippocrates ,   earth   (01.02.13)
want the Jews dead and Israel 8 miles wide...then these leftists should get their head examined.
2. Doesn't matter; any coalition short of 61 & needs
Cyberbrain ,   Israel   (01.02.13)
to meet Ultra-Orthodox demand: one hand on the rudder and the other hand on the udder. Play your games. Get excited. Shout and gesticulate for the masses. It's still gonna continue being an Ecclesiocracy. How many times do you have to see the movie before you know how it turns out?
3. Let's all be honest!
Nadav ,   TLV   (01.02.13)
If 2/3 of the Muslim Arab population in the West Bank opted to VOLUNTARILY leave to another country in exchange for an emigration package, e.g. financial incentive, I don't think there is ONE Israeli who would NOT support this idea and would even pay out of pocket for it! Unfortunately, this idea does NOT seem likely to happen. That is why the world needs to work to establish a democratic REPUBLIC in Jordan that would become "Jordan-Palestine," which would in turn divide the West Bank population centers with Israel. That is the ONLY just and lasting solution to peace between Israel and its neighbors!
4. livni, I agree with feiglin
mohson   (01.02.13)
500,000 is a tidy sum for an arab who does not know he sits on ancient israeli land. half of them would pack up and sign papers that they willingly pass title land to israel. Settlers are not some fringe but are israeli patriots. As for halachi state, i am not interested in it but those who want it, good for them. Livni sitting in tel aviv with her elite friends drinking fancy coffees and eating pastries have little to do with israeli defense. israelis look-livni, olmert, haber, gal on, yesh atid leadership, yechaimovitch are like haber-journalists without significant military contribution- you are going to rely on these pacifists to defend israel???!!
5. of Tzipi Livni is Delusional
Another Installment ,   Not Home Yet   (01.02.13)
The only bad part of this plan is that $500,000 is quite a large sum to pay families who already want to leave....even ones who don't.
6. No To Pay. Other Not Needed
emanon ,   USA   (01.02.13)
Why pay your enemy? Isn't that area already in Israel? Why would you need to annex area Israel already owns?
7. Don't worry Livni
Ellen ,   Israel/NYC   (01.02.13)
Likud is still the same party that gave away 1/2 Hebron, destroyed homes in Ammona and created that cesspool in Gaza by throwing Jews out of their homes. Feiglin has an uphill battle to turn Likud back to a right wing party. I wish him luck.
8. $500,000????
Yaara ,   Israel   (01.02.13)
Is he crazy? A family of olim hadashim hardly gets $20,000 when they come to Israel. Where does he wants to take half a million dollars for each familly??
9. To Tzipi Livni
Danny ,   Rehovot   (01.02.13)
Feiglin represents himself not Likud as a whole but your represent nobody.
10. Felgin was playing to the audience
zionist forever   (01.02.13)
This whole meeting was about the idea of Israel annexing Judea & Samaria so Felgin comes out with a wild a idea about how it cost us 10% of the budget to protect the settlements and so the best solution is to give every palestinian family who wants to emigrate $500,000 because most want to emigrate anyway. Either the man has lost touch from reality or he was playing for the audience who did love his idea.
11. Madness on the right
Avramele   (01.02.13)
Why is the right rushing to a third intifada with the inevitable imposed solution from the outside. The toothless Republicans won't come to Israel's rescue. The Obama administration will guarantee Israel security but not it's hold on the west bank. American Jewry will hold Israel's hand as it takes it's medicine - solace but no support for racist and delusional policies. A negotiated partition remains the only solution with a minimally militarized Palestine and no right of return.
12. Ms.Livni is a Bourgois Reactionary
Jay Abouaf ,   Jaffa Israel   (01.02.13)
Ms. Livni, You are, deep down, a true fascist. You are not a partisan, not one who supports those that value Human Rights. You support the Status quo. You are a true Reactionary.
13. Livni creates reality to suit her needs
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (01.02.13)
Anyone who knows anything knows that Feiglin does not see eye to eye with Likud. Likud would rather he not be with them and they even neutralized him once but he is persistent to stay in Likud. Livni on the other hand seems to make her reality to suit her needs. If we need anything, we need a politician who can recognize reality.
14. A massively depressing picture
Sam ,   Kfar Saba   (01.02.13)
and one I do not think we can avoid as no one in the opposition has a strong alternative to offer. Poor poor Israel, my heart hurts. Although I do not think Livni is the alternative, we need her and others to keep up the fight against Bibi and his radical cowboys, otherwise we will have the Jewish Israeli style of Sharia law.
15. without granting the residents their citizens' rights
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.02.13)
What citizens' rights? They're not citizens, they're displaced persons of war. Moreover, anyone supporting "an agreement" that would make these people subjects of a Palestinian state under PA rule doesn't even want to grant these people, to whom we have a moral and legal responsibility, their basic human rights.
16. At last, real solutions enter mainstream Israeli politics.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.02.13)
Annexing liberated Judea and Samaria and paying "Palestinian" poseurs to leave are the true solutions to Israel's problems. I have long championed both and It's good, at long last, to see real solutions enter mainstream Israeli politics. In order to save Israel, Israeli voters must inflict a real shellacking on the destructive left - which includes Livni's pathetic party, Meretz, Labor etc.
17. #11. Leftist lunacy created Israel's problems.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.02.13)
#11 Avramele. I'm afraid you and your leftist cohorts are the mad ones. Q: Who championed Oslo, which cost tens of thousands of maimed and murdered civilians? A: Leftists. Q: Who championed fleeing Lebanon, which cost Israel endless war and tens of thousands of rockets? A: Leftists. Q: Who championed fleeing Gaza, which cost Israel endless wars and thousands of rockets? A: Leftists. One could go on and on forever in this vein...Leftist lunacy is the cause of Israel's problems. The Patriotic Right is the solution.
18. they should receive same pay package
Barney ,   USA   (01.02.13)
Jews forced to leave arab countries received. $500,000? there are Americans who would leave the country for that sum. However, since the Jews do not want to be the same as arabs, we should make it comfortable for them to leave. two wrongs don't make a right.
19. She speaks the truth
StevieT ,   USA   (01.02.13)
Makes me sick to see posters on this site actually believing otherwise. 1. It is against the Geneva convention to transfer civilian non combatants. I would assume that most would not take the money (problem not solved). 2. Who is going to put up the money, the State? Not a chance, Sheldon Adelson and friends? No their too smart. 3. No matter what, (in the hypothetical) after the money would be paid, some political solution will appear and bring them all back...no refunds of course. Just shows the absolute absence of intelligence among a people known for their acumen.
20. to #14
StevieT ,   USA   (01.02.13)
I agree wholeheartedly except, I think that Livni would be an asset in any coalition. She is a great spokesman and has good diplomatic value with the West. These qualities should not be underestimated in judging their value. I don't know how it can happen, but the Israeli people need to find a center based government., if they fail, a 'Jewish Taliban' future (or worse) seems inevitable.
21. Passports/immigration status
Mark ,   London, UK   (01.02.13)
Prima facie it may look appealing, but every family needs to get a full set of immigration visas to another country and/or the right to stay as a permenent resident. For all the Pally complaints, how many Pals win refugee status in any western country? Arab refugees come from every country EXCEPT the Pally territories. Given the appauling situation of "refugees" in Arab lands, they are unlikely to be heading to any of those. The governments of some pauperised countries, such as Egypt, the Yemen or Morrocco may welcome immigrants with $500K in assets but I guess they won't be popular with the locals. Hey ho, another luny right idea bites the dust.
22. Thank goodness Feiglin talks straight
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (01.02.13)
unlike Madame Livni selling her sexy image of the helpless woman politician You are no Golda, Tzippi
23. How can that silly twit run down Moshe Feiglin like that?
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (01.02.13)
24. #20 - I completely agree with you
Sam ,   Kfar Saba   (01.02.13)
As they say - things often have to get so bad before they get better. Let's hope we are seeing the worst now and that the outcome of the forthcoming election influences the country's direction and restores some hope.
25. Israel should have annexed West Bank during 6-day war!
Jouko ,   Finland   (01.02.13)
26. emigrate to where?
Liron ,   Zichron   (01.02.13)
a pipe dream. offer a million dollars. offer two million. where are they going to go? who's going to take them in.
27. wake up before it is too late!
yaacovic   (01.03.13)
Those poor, misguided individuals who think that Israel can continue to indefinitely control Palestinians without them eventually acquiring the rights of citizens either in their own state or in Israel, badly need a reality check. Further those who think it is acceptable to so control them indefinitely without granting citizen rights are immoral extremists. Not easy but Israelis need to think about how they will coexist with Palestinians in the long term. Even Jabotinsky was realistic in this regard. More so than some of the ruling looneys who proclaim themselves to be Israel's statesmen.
28.  Livni: Feiglin exposed Likud's true nature
jacob   (01.03.13)
Tzipi Livni is the last person on earth to represent the agenda of Israel as foreign minister in the previous administration she was the worst as the head of the Kadima she was the worst and if she is elected to prime minister in this election she will be the worst the only person representing the agenda of Likud Yisrael Beiteinu is Binyamin Netanyahu and he and he alone speaks for the record party miss Livni cannot pronounce words in Hebrew or English for that matter what good would she be in any kind of discussions and she claims she would like to have it is my opinion that miss Livni had better take a home economic cores and mick dinner for her husband if she still has one goodbye Tzipi fly away please
29. Money for Emigration
Zechariah   (01.03.13)
